    I broke shaft that goes down from top in between gears do u happen to know name of it or have extra one mines 4217

    Does part 2 show how to disassemble the u joints and how do I get to Part 2 video

      I never made a part 2. What exactly are you trying to do to the u joints?

      @@TheScientistHayFarmer remove them from the housing, they are stuck

      Remove the double cardan joint from the tedder or remove the universal joints and bearing caps from the yoke?
      If removing the double cardan joint from the tedder, you need to knock the roll pin out first. Have you done this?
      You may need to take the arm off.
      The cardan joint may still be rusted or seized onto the shaft. In this case you just have to get creative. Try prying it, use heat or a penetrating oil.

    How so you remove the u joints?

      The double cardan joints are held on the shaft by a roll pin, and there might be a key way too. There is a hole in the casting of the arm that you line the roll pin up to pound them out. Then remove the u joints from the joint like any other u joint.
