- I am not a Republican. I did not vote for Trump. I do not plan to vote for Trump. I just believe we need to be more critical of our leaders and what they say and do (feat. Kamala Harris).

She wrong on redlining…I still have my grandparents house deed from the 50’s in Los Angeles,it said I quote no BLACKS Asians and Jews in this neighborhood.
Redlining was about establishing property value.
The obvious discrimination on your grandparents deed was a symptom of gov and economic policies specifically targeting black people
Wow so very sad.
It's real in Seattle
Central District is redlined Black neighborhood originally Africatown was established by Black Americans in then 1880s but the city govt went backwards and redlined them into the area so they couldn't live outside of that area.
Asians and Jews got reparations …
Hatred is everywhere- irrespective of skin color. Coming from Africa as an immigrant, my first discrimination experience was from African American. The guy made fun of my accent every now and then. Let’s renew our mind as Jesus Christ teaches us.
Don't stop talking about this. The ones telling you to stop will be the same ones wondering "what happened?" four years from now.
🎯🎯
In my opinion, one thing we as a people need to stop doing is presenting our problems to OTHER FOLK hoping they will do something to help us. This is BOOTSTRAP TIME, yes we were forced here but the problem is and remains with us. We must FIX WHATEVER AILS US, and from what I can see. ITS OUR THINKING!
Damn! Well said. We need to stop depending too much on people to take us from where we are to where we want to be. We need a little assistance, but we have assistance in this country. We just refuse to accept the truth.
You have every right to talk about this. You live in my mother's community. Things will be dangerous in the greater area after Election Day whether Trump wins or loses (let's be honest, all votes are for or against Trump). You more than most have a personal stake in who sits in the White House.
@@darthconquest1046 Very true! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
@nnekaonyilofor I live in Charles County and I am STRONGLY considering being out of the country the week of election day.
Kamala *_SHOULD_* be compelled to address reparations definitively, or continue to be questioned about it consistently and directly every time she engages with black journalists. We don't, however, have a track record of staying on-code to that degree as a people, though.
Yes! I am planning to do a video about us not being on code as a community. It’s one of our biggest problems.
Great video! I've never related to nor cared for Kamala. Her pandering has been on another level! Who is the woman in the audio clip, if you don't mind?
Thank you! Her name is Lady Boule. She is a RUclipsr.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I just don't think that HINDU woman care about Black people...
They don't.
You can be black and indian.
@@kasaimeisho1848 Yes you can, but she isn't.
@@kasaimeisho1848 she has no black blood whatsoever.
@@RandySavage1555, I’m with her! Keep playing checkers! I’m playing chess!
People like Umar are entertaining but when BP get tired of making complaints and start taking actions to solutions then progress will begin.
Government benign neglect policy
I'm glad that somebody brought up Benign Neglect. That's what did it right there.
why didn't these discussions happen when Obama was office?
Social media
These discussions did happen. But Obama doesn’t have her prosecutor background and never said things about not helping Black ppl. Obama also identifies as a Black man (despite being biracial), which helped him win the Black vote.
@@nnekaonyiloforalso...Bw weren't voting for Barack as much as they were voting for Michelle. If Barack was married to Becky Obama(which was his preference at Harvard)...he wouldn't have made it past the Primary(ies).
I would argue the lessons of Obama presidency is why these discussions are more open, more common, more divided and more hostile
@@kayc7442 nice points! 👍🏾
Okay cool I hear yall. But if it benefit everyone, it benefits us too. We can exist and make a living. Sure the economy sucks at the moment and housing is overpriced, wages are low but what are we going to get. How are black people going to get reperations at this point of time. Just give us free money? Not everything is about black America and yall shouldn't constantly be feeling hurt when she tries to help everyone. And aswell as just straight up ignoring simply because she part indian is RACIST. It's not like trump cares for us. Instead of just sitting in your room crying about how your bills aren't gonna get paid by the government for the rest of your lives, vote for what would be better for america as a whole. Just because you're not getting your reperations, we all have to suffer to project 2025, losing rights for abortion, contraceptive, funding in our education, healthcare AND have a form of white supremacy in America? GROW UP and vote for what's right, not because you feel some type of way about someone's race.
A long paragraph of delusional
You can tell that they’ve never been stroked! It’s sad when you are willing to cut your nose off to spite your face! Some Black people are willing to risk bowing to a dictator because Kamala isn’t blacker than thou! Believe people!
1:33 Kamala will never be in a space that someone will ask her about reparations. They’re carefully chosen who’s speaking to her
Wow. That makes sense and is also sad.
@@Broken_Traditions, so what? Trump isn’t giving us anything!
I vote for ME period.
those guys listening to Dr. Umar....... look very uncomfortable when he make his points....!!!
So true 😅

"Will the Black community ever forgive Kamala Harris?"
The question is too personal for the political sphere.
It encourages answers doomed to be moot points.
It's not about forgiving Kamala, the person.
This is about politics.
Politics is all about quid pro quo.
To the point of communal, economic and political disaggregation: Black Americans (i.e., ADOS) finally embracing our unique ethnic, cultural and historical legacy within these United States, is a thing that politicians (and the Diaspora) have never had to seriously reckon with until now.
When one looks at many of the "first Black (fill-in-the-blank)" within the context of post-industrial American politics like Colin Powell (of Jamaican ancestry), Obama (of Kenyan/White American ancestry) and others, one starts to see a pattern. A pattern that works against the best interest of ADOS.
However, now ADOS are noticing how these same non-ADOS Black politicians have no problem utilizing the political capital of ADOS's legacy of fighting for freedom within America to advance their individual political and economic interests.
Will the ADOS community ever forgive Kamala Harris for co-oping the political capital of a legacy she has no lineage-based connection to?
Will the ADOS community ever forgive actual ADOS political originizations like the Congressional Black Caucus that aid the abuse of ADOS?
Will the ADOS community ever forgive social engineers like Al Sharpton (FBI informant) who aid the abuse of ADOS?
I should hope not.
This is one of the best explanations I have ever heard on this topic. 💯🎯💎💡🙏🏾
Kamala Harris and Barack Obama were born on American soil, which makes them American citizens and they can take part in any area of the political system. Do you think that non-ADOS are cheating the system? There is a bar that was set and they measured up to it. If the ADOS wants the position they should beat these people: surpass them! It’s funny how I don’t hear white Americans who support Trump saying that his youngest son is not “truly American”. It’s just us, fighting amongst ourselves. I know that white Americans are not favoring black immigrants, it’s just merit. It’s who QUALIFY.
Also, who would receive reparations? Do naturalized black citizens get it? Some may say that it’s only second or third generation immigrants. What about biracial blacks who present more non black than black? What about wealthy blacks? What are the plans for how the funds will be used? There needs to be a better discussion about reparations than people just saying “send me money!”
Whew chile! Amazing video. You posed some questions, I’m going to really have to ponder on.
We’re in a very precarious position. Do you hold your vote? Do you vote Trump, knowing what policies he’s pushing? Do you vote Harris that haven’t brought forth any policies that will benefit the black community?
I’m going to be honest, Trump lost my support this go around when I said on VARIOUS occasions that he will give police officers Federal Immunity is re-elected. I’m a first responder and I can’t in good faith support that because I know what comes with that. George Floyd, Sonya Massey, etc are just the tip of the iceberg. He also lost me with Project 2025. I did a deep delve into it and it’s pretty scary. A lot to think about.
Exactly! I don’t think Black Americans will benefit from either side (as usual). It just blows me that some Black people (mainly BW) are not more critical of Kamala, based on the things that she has blatantly said (and done), which proves that she will not help us and or our communities.
@@nnekaonyilofor Okay but right now do you really have a choice. Even if she won't benefit us, would you allow trump to do what he will? Why can't we just take what we're given right now? Instead of complaining about the things we obviously can't change, can't we just vote for the person that won't rob us of our rights? Would you rather have her or the white supremacist, attempting to take away women's rights? Kamala didn't start slavery or segregation. Trump is trying to.
@@kasaimeisho1848thank you! Well said.
I am voting for her no matter what any of y’all say! Y’all playing checkers when y’all need to be playing chess. A high tide lifts all boats!
@@aprilclover2429 An Anti-Asian Hate Crime Bill was passed...as was a Alphabet Community Hate Crime Bill was passed...exactly how has that uplifted Black people? How are "all boats" lifted when when apparently...we don't have a boat? 🤔
@@cpthetrucker9067, wait and see what happens. Have faith in what’s possible. Let go of the victim mentality. Kamala represents hope!
There's no victim mentality: are Black folks not entitled to anything? That's right: Kamala told the entire world she wasn't doing anything specifically for Black people...yet Black people like you are probably voting for her, anyways. Is asking for tangibles in return(like every other group does-and actually receives)really a "victim mentality"?

Immigration, immigration, immigration . . .
Okay. Do you think Trump will stop immigration? He will only reduce the number of immigrants who are POC, white Europeans are all welcome. This will further reduce the ratio of white to black people living in America. How will that help us?
NO !!! Her wrongful doing is absolutely disgraceful to us.
