I suggest you should add racing so there is something to do with the cars if you don’t sell them. The players could be rewarded money for doing good in the races and each part affects different stats positively or negatively like speed acceleration steering etc.

add minigames when creating a car, for example hit the right button in the right time to install an engine or something similar :)
I have some suggestion!
1.when you trying to sell a car,the costumer(NPC) will come to your workshop and chose the price for buying a car you already make (after car send by truck to the shop for selling and the shop it was yours)and then you can cheak the shop for look who costumer want to buying it and them will ask the diffirent price for car.
2.add more componen to the car like engine,seat,radio,(the thingy in top of car or van for store item but idk what is that exactly)and more other componen.
Only that my all suggestion,i hope this game out soon!Cant wait to play it :D

Idea 1: Trucks
basically a new shop with stuff for trucks instead of cars!
Idea 2: Events
Events can spawn every 5 mins. events such as Sales events (You can get car parts for cheaper) and a Expensive Cars Event (selling cars gives more money) Events can last up to 2 minutes.
Idea 3: Billy's Friends
On a rare occasion Billy brings his friends along to graffiti with his friends which gives u more money
Idea 4: Others Category
basically there will be an others category to buy weird things that go on your car… Like wings and a Potato…
Idea 5: Sleepy Joe
sleepy joe gives you quests such as build a car using wings or something like that. you get money from him but sometimes comes and collects taxes from you as he works for the government :O
Idea 6: Phone
you can use a phone to call certain people like billy's mom (to punish him after he graffitied your project) or sleepy joe (to get quests from him if ur to lazy to walk to him)
How can this guy work on a game and not quit after 1 day!?!??! Like what? I abandon my games so quickly.
It takes patience, you shouldn’t rush it but you shouldn’t spend too long on it, people will be waiting for you to finish then it never comes out. It’ll ruin your reputation.
It always depends on your hobbies. For me, Inline/Roller hockey & Game Development are my hobbies. Since those are my two main hobbies; I can easily focus on them and not get bored. Another thing that it depends on is your experience. If you are a newer developer, and just starting out with learning Programming Languages (ie. Python or Lua) then you will probably not have a lot of motivation to start a serious project.

So uhm, that's me (i do modeling, but I DO NOT paint 3d models *just yet*, goes tough. 😅). If yes and all goes well - then we could be friends/partners. I do not accept for money as:
1) It means Friendship/Partnership with such a nice person;
2) I get even more modeling/other experience from it;
3) I'm young (13);
4) Maybe (not main part, could do well without it) i could look up for some scripts, as I'm it would be interesting to understand which way you get the result (i mean the idea and combination of commands, strings and tables do you use to achieve the goal).

ok amazing idea you can get daily rewards or smth or rewards for how long you play the game basically i have a idea for a reward that you can also integrate into the game. so *polishes* basically polishes can make your car worth more mabye like a multiplier or smth and they can give cars dif looks like a rocky polish makes it look rocky ok so thats my first idea second maybe once you make a car and you dont want to sell it maybe you can drive it around a small map or smth anyways thats all my ideas! great vid btw

the game looks good, i think you should add a race you can race with your cars and get money. I recommend making a limited ugc item when you release the game because it will bring a lot of easy traffic to your game .
I used to play custom pc tycoon too! Exact same thing, but cars! Would love to play it!
I’m not going to lie I played a game exactly like this where you build your own car like make the frame add the tires and windows and everything and it had most of your guys suggestions, especially the one I saw most, 3 customers(npcs) offered your car different ammounts of money, and it showed you how many % profit you get or lose depending on who you sell it for and the market price for the car, and you could then buy your own cars for the money accumalated, and also upgrade your workshop.
this game is gonna be really cool if you keep on adding new things and making things better than before i will definitely be playing it if it comes out and you keep updating it
I remember I played the hell out of custom pc tycoon with my friends but then we stopped cuz we maxed it out and I was begging for a similer game to be made also *TIP* as one commenter said you should add engines radiators and more mechanical parts instead of just customizing a car and make it so a car is not sellable until it has the necessary parts but it can be customized for extra cash

Maybe a reputation system would work, some like you could get better (more expensive) car chassis, better looking garage, luxory accessories, and maybe a dealership based on reputation more buyers would come and you could sell your cars for more money in there.
Add a side mission job like you have a tow truck and go around the map to get broken cars and customise them and sell them for profit
Add a race track where you can race the cars you build and when you win you can get exclusive items that that change every week

I only got two suggestions
One, is a rebirth system
And two, is a way to test your car and even use it against other players like a gladiator type of arena
When selling the car add an option to deliver the car yourself to your client, for extra cash of course. If the cars are driveable in the future.
Maybe adding car tiers? You would need to level up to unlock different and more unique cars 👍

you can hire workers to do stuff like buy parts or make the cars!
another idea: Car Dealership
basically if u sell your cars they go to the car dealership. then you wait a bit while families or people come and buy the car!
another another idea: car showcase area
so basically you showcase ur car and get money every 30 seconds depending on the value. you can also make it like a rare chance for a robber to come and steal ur car which could also be robbers stealing cars in the dealership too!
another another ANOTHER idea: minigames. minigames such as racing, acavenger hunt or copy the car (build a car with what it tells u to use) and you can get rewards for those minigames!

this game is amazing, ive been looking all over for games like these and couldnt find any, please dont rush it spend more time, and also it would be good if we can have performance mods too
More cars, more things to adjust like maybe lower the car, maybe you can make it that you can drive the car, and win races for money.
Idea for the game is upgrade the cars parts like engines so it can go faster and than add racing tracks to go on to test out the cars and race friends also a second idea is to add car wraps to boost sell price and looks of cars. But great game idea keep working on it.
U can add an XP system, shoukd allow to get cooler stuff for higher XP

Add music. I remember playing tycoons a few years ago and the music was really good, the music in not copyrighted and is made by a channel name Tobu, there should be some things to read before using the songs, but it’s just a suggestion to add music or more specifically Tobu
@Pot4toStudio maybe you could make a neighborhood where npcs are selling their cars and you have to repair them and sell them maybe?
Add engine type like: Inline 4, Inline 6, v4, v6, v8, v10, v12
(for something funny make a inline 12 but yk its not very long or it would be strange that the engine would be sticking out)
It would be cool if you could make the map bigger and add more roads and make it so you can acctually drive the cars
I got a good suggestion you should make it like when you buy a tire and you place it on your car it won't place all four tires it will only place that one day you put it on
Maybe make the base price of every more expensive? Rather than just having 70 dollar cars you could bump it up to 2k for more realism
for the money system, why not making it so you get money with jobs, such as taxi or you can win it with races else with players else with bots or a bid system so any players can bid money for a race. I gave an example but I'd suggest more jobs it's just an overall see

Tip: Make the game or cartoonish. They garage is too realistic and it doesn't match with the cartoonish vibe
we need wishbone suspension, front differential, back differential, differential locking, cast iron flat 4, v8 and i4 and radiator 🔥🔥🔥
Make it so you can drive the car around and you can buy trails and patterns for your car!
If you're having trouble with modeling cars, look at cars like the Yugo, Polski Fiat (Nikky), and Lada. Very Boxy cars with pretty simple dimensions. if you can find references, the brits were the queens of the boxy motorbox esp in their now defunct companies. Mini's are your best friend. And, if you're struggling for references, A youtube channel called "Garbage time" shows in good detail the under belly of many a nugget.
I am a car lover so yeah, this is great.
