This episode actually explains why Pinkie was so grossly out of character in Filli Vanilli and why she was so useless in Over A Barrel. She's somewhat good at hiding it but Pinkie is actually pretty bad at improvising, and when she tries she does a smelly job sometimes. And she definitely bad at telling what others are thinking.
None of the logistics in this episode make any sense. Then again, all of the logistics in this episode center around Pinkie Pie, so there isn't really an argument you can make.
