@alisonmills4409 I seriously doubt that White will try to sabotage Clark's career. It was Sides who did everything she could to sabotage Clark on/off the court. Besides Clark & White have a lot of respect for each other. And White was one of the first WNBA coaches that stood up for Clark early in the season, she called Clark's games in college so she knows how she plays, and she never bad mouthed the fans. Also Clark seems very happy with White's hiring so that is a huge plus.
This was my absolute dream hire for the Fever. I’ve missed Coach White ever since she left for Vanderbilt. I didn’t think we’d get her this soon or at all. Go rewatch our playoff series from this year. Watch how brilliant and tough her team played. My biggest takeaway from the series, I literally texted my friend immediately after that Stephanie coached circles around Sides. This is an amazing day for Fever fans!

I remember when the season started off against the Sun, I looked at Stephanie White and thought wouldn't that be nice to have a coach like her, thinking maybe Sides could become that kind of coach or maybe actually have her on the sidelines for the Fever, never actually thinking it would happen let alone the very next season. It makes a lot of sense with all the connections there are with new regime in the front office that she clearly was the only choice.
I'm surprised no one is concerned that she came from the sun which had the most hateful players towards Clark, I'd say more than Chicago. That type of culture starts with the coach. But I guess since she is on the team now it's all love, grace and media narratives.
