Hi Peace, i am a newbie here, have been on a journey to becoming an ALT in japan and i found your space. I have watched your video and find it really helpful. I know i will come back some day to say i am greatful finding your page.
Congratulations to your new adventure this has motivated me as well to make a decision about my current situation. I wish you all the best on you new journey
Congratulations 🎉 I'm glad you are well. I have one question and request. Can one get offers for an English teacher role in Japan from Nigeria, or is it only obtainable when one is already in the country with the "Japanese experience"? Again, could you please make a video on how to ace ALT interviews? I had an interview with a dispatch company sometime in April, but I wasn't given an offer. Ever since, I have been quite discouraged to apply further, as a majority of the companies I applied to afterwards did not respond.
Hello sis. Yes one can get an offer from outside Japan. I got mine from Nigeria. Secondly, making a video on how to ace ALT interviews is a bit tricky because companies often have unique approaches to recruitment, and they may change their methods if they feel their interview strategies are being widely shared. Keep trying and don't be discouraged. All the best.
Bonjour, I saw your video on wakawaka and I have done the exams and gotten my certificate. Am applying for jobs and hope to get one soon. Thanks so much. Am grateful.
So I passed the first stage of application for an ALT position and I was asked to fill a form, choose a date for the Skype interview but unfortunately I wasn’t selected to go further. Any suggestions on what I could have done differently to be selected?
Hi Peace Isabella here from 🇧🇼 how long should one start applying for part jobs while working as ALT and share some insights to the processes as well . Thank you
