10:00 I remember a 2010 interview with Ross Brawn. He said that in previous F1 cars Michael would brake and then apply some throttle. But was told not to do that in 2010 season cars because it cuts out the engine. Michael had to be reminded by Brawn often because he continued to do it by habit. I think I remember Suzuka 2010 Qualifying the telemetry showes braking applied and throttle goes up a bit at the same time. Schumacher pressed them both at the hairpin.
He did so to use more rear brake bias. Before 2008 when "engine braking" was banned, that system did basically the same thing. As soon as the rears were showing signs of locking, the ECU would open the throttle a bit and use engine power to overpower the brakes so they don't lock. Lets you use really rearward brake bias for good rotation without having to risk locking up the rears or compromise overall braking performance, at the cost of abusing the hell out of your rear brakes lol.
@ 1:30 Steve's balaclava is not tucked into his suit. In the event of a fire his neck and or face could get burned. Love this content of you guys at the Nürburgring!
great job boys, I really hope Misha does not beat himself too much for that. watching 3 my fav channels ive watch each for over 10 years and seeing this collab is a dream come true
Jimmer, we're living vicariously through you. You got me through the pandemic and we're all proud of what you've achieved. You've earned all the success.
you guys should do a team video. seeing 3 versions of the race is cool but lacks a bit of cohesiveness. Right now it just seems to be 3 individuals who happen to share the same car. editing is great, camera work is great and the racing is awesome but I don't get the sense that you are a team. I look forward to seeing you progress through the ranks and hope to cheer you guys on at the N24 some day soon
Can't believe I got to meet you yesterday it was amazing watching you in the.. 65 manumission blue horse, can't wait to see you online when your not busy living life to the max 😅 thanks Jimmy, made my day
Still a wierd disconnect between Shed Boy & you in the car there... but I've been around enough racing drivers to have the myth of the whole thing shattered already. Keep doing the vids, because it shows everyone else that they can do it too, even if they're living in a tent in their parent's back garden. And because theyt're fun too! Looking forward to the vid of the last event, some rocketship performances in there & I'd like the full story.
Thank you for having me guys. I enjoyed myself watching Misha, Steve and yourself on this great adventure. and I really hope this is only a "curent" peak. 🎉🎉🎉🎉congrats to P5🎉🎉🎉🎉
This is so cool, thank you for bringing us along for the ride, Jimmer. Your narration really adds to the experience, I am impressed with your presentation!
Hello Jimmy, I do enjoy this content and following your, Super GT and Misha's Nords adventures. I know the videos might not be great performance wise but I do feel they do best to your core fan base and inspire the sim racing hobbyists in a bunch of us to simulate, and learn the nords in some slower multiclass madness races.
Misha probably has enough vids recorded to fill this and half of next year. He uploads daily and drives all cars from shit boxes to the creme of the crop. It’s obvious that he’s putting extra effort in growing his channel.
Jimmy: “There is something with that first image of Steve there from the side camera” Me frantically looking for two minutes: “What the hell is- oh… *Oh*
Everything starts a bit sore, just take it and smile, them teeth will soon cut through and everyone will be happy... keep it up guys im well rooting for you 🙌🏁👏
GET IT, mate! Great result in the end given the issues. To finish first, you first have to finish. And finish must taste great after that first race fiasco.
Well done everyone, I have to admit I wasn’t optimistic about your chances of finishing any race but wow you guys did brilliantly. All the best for next season and the 24hr 😊
Gotta love mandatory street car "safety" features that actively try to kill you. Had lane keep assist in a learner car try to pull me into a head on collision on a rural road once. Don't understand why stuff like that even exists on cars, completely pointless at best and actively dangerous at worst.
I feel that. I had to get a rental car a few months ago because my motor blew in my 95 s10. Was just a base model new Corolla but had all the lane keep stuff and it felt horrific. Definitely going to stay with older manual transmission cars
@@Michael_Ruiteror get a sports model without the assists, but even those are getting fewer. The newest Merc AMG GT has 100 assists that make it boring to even think about.
Even if they are working perfectly, best case scenario...training "drivers" to not care as much or be as proficient in driving. The more the car does the dumber the "driver" becomes. I had a lady tell me when I was a service advisor that she didn't need a quote on her busted side mirror. "Nooo, that little light thingy tells me if a car is there, I don't need a mirror!". It's pathetic.
Had a crash avoidance or something in a rental Chevy Bolt slam on the brakes in about 10mph rolling traffic, causing the guy behind me to tap my bumper. Luckily it wasn't at higher speeds and the guy behind was paying attention.
I've almost lost my car a few times because of emergency braking in SNOW. I was navigating around what looked like the beginning of a pile up and VW thought I needed to stop immediately slamming on the brakes, missed the car In front by a hair but then kerbed a wheel. I drive with everything off In tough conditions now to avoid this crap.
Bmw is notorious for its tendency to break down. Good for car enthusiasts beause you get to fix it every 2nd time you go for a ride. Talking about factory cars xd
notice how batman and jimmy were not on the screen at the same time. coincidence i think not
Brilliant observation my friend 🤔
🤣
I've never seen him and Michael Barrymore in the same place at the same time either.🤨
Allwhite?😅@@samuelgarrod8327

Hey that’s for telling me. That’s great info. 👍🏁
Basically what you're saying is Mischa = Schumi 👍✅
Jimmy is actually a billionaire who takes up being a vigilante justice expert in his spare time
Yo, we have similar profile pics! :D

Thank you! I couldn't find what it was and it was bothering me so much
Speed GT Super Steve had an awesome first stint.
Steve drives so confidently and calm its so incredible to watch
He looks so great and at home in the car, it's like he's been in it for years almost
Absolutely love this content Jimmy!!!! You guys are incredible!

From driving a pretend version of the circuit in a shed to a P5 in a 6 hour NLS race. I'm proud of you, Jimmy.

they should make a youtube channel or a series where they would upload these videos
no man
i like this format
its more content for us this way… 3 vids instead of 1

Congrats Jimmer. Good stuff.
Awesome Jimmy. Well done. Steve's opening stint was amazing too.

HOW DID MISHA REACH 1 MILL SUBS??
Couple of months ago he was behind Jimmy and Super GT, and now he's over 150k ahead??

Back in 2019 this felt like a dream. And yet, it's become reality. Mega proud of you and mega happy for this!
1:29 He's got the key just sitting on the dashboard near the shifter. I bet that didn't stay put during the stint!
Keep living your dream mate. We'll keep watching.
Yeah Steve's an animal isn't he
Even a full send into the pits 😅
❤it
Great work Jimmy keep that 🔥 burning
Steve is master of the shadow realm and Barry R
I swear jimmer is cursed. Any time he drives a car on a track it has reliability issues
You've all come so far, proud of the lot of you!
When life is good. It's great to show it with a big smile.
Well crafted, enjoyable videos. Like your driving, your team is committed to doing/being their best.
Thanks for putting it out there.
3:14 "wheel to wheel combat"...no puntorino, Jimmer!
Amazing race bro, have watched (most of) all 3 live from Australia. Stoked for these opportunities to live through you
Steave and P6 have a quite remarkable relationship, jokes aside Good drive for all of you ❤

Loved this series Jimmer. well done.

Stellar content yet again from Jimmer. I can't wait to see the video of the next race!

Car had so many issues, especially in Misha's stint, and the idiot in chat were blaming him, like they were in the paddock and knew what was happening
misha wrecked car twice last week and shuts it down twice this week ,jimmy and steve had none of these issues .could just be coincidence though

Get these men in a GT3 car asap!!
This should be a fantastic watch, just in time for my dinner :D
Absolute badassery guys. Yall are rapid in that car.
Contrats jimmer and teammates, loving the series.
Congrats on finishing the race, unlucky about the tech difficulties but that's racing
Good race! Feels for Misha. :)
Start of video. Max Verstappen is that you?!? 😂
Bloody hell Steve!😎
Big Balls! 👍😎
Is Steve’s helmet not strapped correctly in the side shot? Or is his Hans missing? (Might just be hard to see on mobile)
Ah it was helmet, good call bringing him in early to sort it
Awesome video - awesome drive! More of this please!
Epic, for sure. Sounds like your stint went really well, actually.
Of course Steve likes the move into Mutkurve!
Congrats guys!!!
Awesome just awesome, 👏👏👏👏for the whole team
Great success guys. Just GREAT. You are awesome. ♥

Steve’s helmet strap is loose, you can see it really good at 1:47

What music do you use in your closing credits?

Steve and Jimmer are the super pairing.
Grats Bud!
That pass by Steve was brilliant
Is it the balaclava not put under the suit for Steve? I think that was wrong.
Will the podium video be done by next year?
Awesome effort from the entire team!
Great effort guys! 😎💚
Is it possible to flip the mirror horizontally? 🙏 🙏 🙏 I get heart attack everytime a GT3 divebombs you from what looks like the wrong side 😅
The perfect team 👌
Nice to see, well done... 😜
JIMMER IN A BIMMER Ep. "I lost count"
Sounds like Misha needs to un-learn left foot braking in this car, what a pain in th ar*e that is!
I didn't know you were racing with Alex Albion
ITS BWOKEN
Nothing but problems with that cursed bmw
Shutting off from trailbraking is madness.
