Man, thanks for breaking this song for us. Merlin is bigger on balkans then any singer there. He is the only singer that above nationalisam is. You dont have a lot of people like him. I‘ll like to suggest you to lisen EKV band. They had it, a good singer and even betther keyboard musican. To of them maked something really special. Thanks again man.

I'd recommend Merlin's song Ptica Bijela either the studio version or the 2008 Kosevo live version... He's got so many good songs, but there's so much beauty in music from the ex yu region (Juzni Vetar, Sevdah, Nardone, Zabavne etc.) Artists like Safet Isovic and Saban Saulic, Sinan Sakic and Halid Beslic...
I feel it brother, I feel every note and word. Born in Bosnia, not in Sarajevo, but small city bordering Serbia called Zvornik. At the new year 1991-92 celebrations, I’ve just proposed to my girlfriend, and we were supposed to get married in June 1992. By then my fiancée was taken away as a war prisoner. Raped and returned pregnant. My parents and many members of my family, including 8yo child, were executed while trying to escape. Executed by my neighbour S Gruić I was never able to hate Serbs and Serbia for what happened to my family, because I grew up with them and many of my friends, neighbours and my first love were Serbs I always knew who committed the crime, and even though he’s never been convicted for any crime, he will be judged byGod for his actions. Now I know that the fratricidal war we’ve had in Yugoslavia, was part of the plan form foreign Western countries. Who ironically came in as a peace makers Balkanisation became very popular tactic, and they continued braking other countries. This concert is one of the examples and proofs that they didn’t brake and completely divide us Slavs We are still connected by blood lines Love and peace to all Thanks for this video
