I just love this movement. I want to hear more interpretations, such a pity it's not part of our best pianists repertoire

Refreshing music and so powerfull and exciting. Something different of those eternity-played Prokofievs. Why do the candidates for the Koningin Elizabeth-wedstrijd (Brussels) never choose to play those unknown concertos?

Um....how? I live in Southern California, and can assure you that orchestras rarely play unknown works, masterpieces or not. The same with our two classical music stations. The price of CDs is still out of the range of most people's budgets in this Great Recession. That leaves You Tube

very good. I'm a fan of John Williams and from 6:20 it reminds me of him. A style he's obviously adopted! :)

While originality may not always be present in some works, it does not detract from their enjoyment. In their time, in their genre, all composers/musicians are inspired by their contemporaries. With time, distilling that 'inspiration' evolves into new styles and more riginal works. It's a process. I'm thoroughly delighted that these lesser known composers and their works are found, played, and made available to music lovers the world over thru RUclips. Thank you.
