- message from artist from Black Crystal (channel), Lucy Zhi: when you listen to this song, you picture lighting a cigarette and throwing your head back and staring at the clear blue sky. how can someone be your whole world? you wonder to yourself. you're not speaking with each other for a long time, that you're desperate and you go to this place to meet him and you quietly decide that if he doesn't come to meet you, you will really let everything you remember about him be the past. He lied. You keep telling yourself. But you still would've gone there. There's a part of you that knew he wasn't coming. He was everything you weren't. that's why you needed him so much. You have your issues but he won't be there to fix things for you anymore. Slowly, he just got tired of carrying that weight. You'd do everything to tell him to come back as he walks away from you. Farther and farther. You thought about giving up but sometimes it is easier to believe in a lie. I imagined all of this while I listened to this song.

Unless you're in a studio used by professionals, you can't really shut out the outside sounds.
But it doesn't bother me at all, and considering the trouble you'd have to go through to re-record it over and over again, I thought this style was fine.
And then there's the scat(?) part of this song. The part where you hum the melody is absolutely beautiful.
The autumn sky is high, and it feels as far away as getting back the man I lost.☁🚬Like👍24👍
thank you for understanding the challenges that I had to go through. I try to not let it affect how my video turns out but sometimes, I am helpless. I am glad you didn't find it distracting and choppy. I think I spent the most time on the opening part where I am just vocalizing. in the original song, it was supposed to sound more like: ooh, but I had this idea and I gave myself a little bit of freedom with it.

I have times when I have felt that way. the way things ended wasn't fair and you're just left with the choice to move on doing whatever you have to do to do so. sometimes you don't find closure. things were bad between a friend of mine and me but I went back and tried to talk it out. but I realized it was a mistake of what came out of that conversation.
