I've just recently started filming myself, both POV and stationary, and it's made a world of difference. I put aside the ego that because I've been riding for a while, I know what I'm doing and there's no room for improvement. In actuality, I've just been carrying non-optimal form in some areas for a while and haven't progressed. Filming myself gives me undeniable, objective evidence -and reference - for improvement.
That's awesome to hear! I cannot express enough how it has helped my own riding! Being able to LOOK back and notice things and THEN go back and improve them has helped me progress BIG TIME!
YES! Such a great tip. Video is a great tool.
Yes! I always film myself doing my lifts and it makes all the difference
Big fan of filming! Would love a RUclips video on the best ways, angles, and gear to film yourself mountain biking.
Oh good idea! I've made a video about different tripods I use, but this is also a great idea. Thanks for watching lady!

Do you film your riding or practice? Has it helped you improve?
