Seeing Joel’s mega city as a back drop to your base gave me the idea that you two should collab and run power lines from your power plant so it’s like it’s powering both your bases

Their bases being side-by-side give me the impression that while Joel has this big bustling metropolis, Mumbo has this small-town suburbia just on its outskirts that has big things going for it so it’s not overshadowed by the large city it sits outside of. It’s a perfect coincidence and I’ve loved seeing it evolve
@pixlbelle8081 I feel like Joel's city is taking residents away from Mumbo's suburb (hence why everything is barely in buisness) and also a place where Imp's residents have taken shelter since their city is under attack.
That's the vibe I get, at least.
if you're crazy enough, i would recommend getting bdubs and scar on a call and maybe working with them to transition their two forests through your base- bdubs has the little pines, scar has the giant redwoods, you could have the medium sized ones. Or maybe you have more of your area's usual tree, and the three of you work to blend that middle bit, and maybe make a little build in the center

Mumbo, you could add an area of tree stumps where SurPlus was clearcutting trees. This also would explain the abruptness of what remains of the forest, and fits in with the motif of a big corp vs small town.

Just a suggestion but if you look over at the lake by grian and gems area, they’ve been covering the seafloor with mud instead of the natural generation. I think this could look really cool in the river through your base especially with the mud gradient around SurPlus.

This is a small suggestion, but i reckon a flashing aircraft warning light (the type they put on tall buildings irl to help planes not crash into them) to the top of the bulbous creation would look really cool

So the reason the pipe breaks is kinda technical technical, you might want to ask DocM77 about lazy chunks and how they interact with gravity blocks instant falling and that might help you make one that doesn't break
I learned this from SB737's video on his command block farm
Can't he break the concrete powder blocks before they drop into a water stream for transport? Or do they still convert into concrete that way?
@sgdjtekWhat do you mean by break them? If they become items they need a player to place them again
@sgdjtek Yeah, he COULD break them like that, but then he'd have to regularly go into the machine to place all of them back down. And unless he makes that segment of the machine absolutely massive, he'd only be able to get the concrete to fall for about two or three minutes or so at most before he'd have to replace it again, and that's assuming he turns the "drip" timing for each piece down significantly.

My first thought for the toxic waste pipes is to nametag a bunch of baby slimes and just water elevator them up and drop them down! I don't know how well it would work with the lag and being on a server, but I thought it might be worth sharing!
With all the --details-- lag in his and Joel's bases, a couple little slimes won't make a big difference in performance.

I was about to write the same thing. I agree it looks more cool. About the lag, they don't need to be renamed, there can be a slime farm with allays or something and it only works when the region is loaded. But I think it doesn't matter to much in the servers lag

To get things to look animated without moving blocks you could try cycling lights behind the blocks. Could look extra corrosive if it glows. Could look like garbage but worth a few attempts.

We love seeing ideas that don't work immediately, because that makes us think about how one might solve that problem. If we always get the answer handed to us on a silver platter there is no point in thinking for ourselves.

the space bar thing also works with trading! Super quick to trade sticks and rotten flesh with villagers!
Yes! You just press space(for bringing up the trade) then enter to complete the trade. Rinse and repeat until either you run out of sticks, or the villager runs out of emeralds!
If you swap the first parts of "Grumble and Moan" you get "Mumble and Groan" which sounds like an alternate universe version of Mumbo and Grian
"Mumble and groan" sounds like what you'd find on Mumbos *other* OnlyFans(the one without redstone contraptions).

Thankyou for the broken pipe bit! My young child is right on the tipping point of falling down the redstone rabbit hole and it is really helpful for him to see his role models stuggling with and solving issues instead of having complete builds pop into existence.

You can always use a chunk loader for that feedtape, that way there will always be a "entity" close by to keep the feedtape and its sand properly loaded
in the recent update, i think they made it so that enderpearl stasis chambers become easy chunkloaders

I think it’s actually really good for your new trees to have greater foliage density. When trees are in a group planting, they have to focus their energy vertically, getting taller than all of the surrounding trees. When isolated, a tree has more horizontal space and less resource competition, so it can leaf out more in the middle.

@alfiesheahan9098 Doc has been involved in 2 cases that went to Bdubs' Tall Claims Court. The first time, he was the defendant and received a sentence of 2 weeks in skyblock. The second time, he was acting as the complainant's lawyer when Mumbo was being sued over the iron shop being a source of noise and environmental pollution in the shopping district - right by the food store. But Doc decided to use the court case to ask Cub, under "oath", whether he was the ore snatcher (a prankster who's been really irritating Doc this season). Which was completely unrelated to the case, and Bdubs punished Doc to go back to skyblock for another 24 hours. At this point, a lot of the audience like to joke that if Doc is ever back in that court, no matter what the reason, he's going to be sent to skyblock yet again 😂

The functionality in the crafting menu is pretty new, only being added last October.

I think meshing the two forests would look good. You could also make some sort of pathway between the two to really tie things together

If you want something green that reacts to gravity for your slimy pipe, why not try slimes? Bonus, they come in different sizes.
You can make it work I think without 0-tick. Basically, when you push a concrete up, you push it with a non gravity block. Then the incomming concrete replaces it, and you can reset it with two other pistons.
Please put a Placeholder Filter before your sorting system so you can sort them out before they ruin your system. It'll save a lot of future headaches I think. If you use one standard for your Placeholder blocks, then its easy to filter out those blocks specifically. Very useful on dump chests and you know where to look for your placeholders when you add more stages to your system.
I assumed he had that somewhere because i believe he usually does.

As someone who knows nothing about redstone in Minecraft, Seeing a redstone build that works is always cool, but also I think seeing how a redstone build can fail to work is interesting, so I think you should include more failed redstone build attempts, you could even just do a compilation of failed redstone build attempts if you think only one failed build isn't good enough to post
i agree, i am horrible at redstone, but i tend to learn way better when seeing whats failed to work, and why.
Next week - mumbo glitches a command block into hermitcraft simply to animate his builds better

The failed builds are nice, because it allows the viewers to try and expand upon and solve the original idea/problem.
Depending on the size of a multiplayer server, you might be able to alert people that you lay claim to a biome, so that desert, badlands, or mangrove are fine for your base. Large servers? No chance people will respect that
