    Nice video Wade! Solid advice to stay upright through the shallow bits. I flipped at Pincushion last week, landed with all my weight on a subsurface rock and popped my shoulder out bad. Ended my day real quick. Mind the mank!

    Green River Gorge is some of the most amazing wilderness, and comparatively lesser known (say, than Linville). Great hiking, kayaking, tubing, rock scrambling. Thanks for sharing your run Wade!

    This was a great video man. Look like it's a lot of fun. I just regular kayak I never done this type of Kayaking before. Question? I have big very very wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE with very fat wide toe. Is there enough space inside the kayak for a foot this size and wide and is there special shoes you have to wear. I tried a sit inside kayak and my foot got stuck inside the Kayak. so I had to buy a sit on top so my foot would not get stuck. I'm interesting in trying this style of kayaking.

    • @WadeHarrison
      @WadeHarrison  4 года назад

      There are boats made for larger paddlers check out retailer and can sit in some to fit the right fit

      The Liquid Logic Flying Squirrel 95 is a high volume creek boat at 95 gallons. I can fit size 13 rafting boots without feeling cramped.

      @@number4cat1 oh okay thank you I appreciate that. It just really sucks having a very very wide feet this wide. I was expecting to have this problem with shoes but not with kayaking.

      Wavesport Recon 93, Dagger Nomad Large, Jackson Nirvana or Zen 3. Wavesport Recon 93 might be a perfect fit for your size. Depending on your height there may be other options. @ 6' 3" 250LBS size 13 foot the Wavesport Habitat 80 fits me fantastic and probably has more comfort for my feet than any other whitewater boat i've paddled.. With 13 more gallons of volume and similar design and more deck height, the Recon 93 is a shoo-in; pardon the pun.

      @@WadeHarrison I definitely plan on it. I’ve actually been keeping in touch with another kayaker via Facebook from a whitewater group since I first started kayaking who actually paddles with you sometimes. His name is Dakota, super cool brother who also had great things to say about you. So yeah, it’s definitely on the list man, thanks for the invite, stoked 💪

    How does your camera stay so still when your head is bobbing up and down like that..?

    • @WadeHarrison
      @WadeHarrison  4 года назад +1

      The hero 7 has image stabilization it crops the footage slightly but I run super view so it’s not noticeably but the stability is unreal in theses newer cameras!
