Dawes channels 70's Eagles and Jackson Brown so well. A great band!

One of the best Dawes song and thatˋs not dating little. One of my all time top 3 songs of 2011 in tough competion with Blitzen Trapper and Band of Heatens

Jackson Browne with soul, Simon and Garfunkel with balls, The Eagles without being pretentious, Neil Young with great vocals… or just Dawes cause one day that is all you will have to say.

You may already know this, but the fact that they sound like The Band is why Robbie Robertson has them play as his backup band when he tours. Pretty nice place to hang your hat as a young band - Backing band for the group that was the backing band for Dylan. Not to mention Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers also backed up Dylan for almost 3 years. Not bad company to be in, and they certainly have the chops. Oh yeah, and Jackson Browne likes playing with them. Unreal.

Best song from Nothing Is Wrong, though Little Bit Of Everything is lovely.

Did they have a different piano player? Where is the guy with the beard? Great music and lyrics. Music for adults.

They do have a newish piano player, his name is Tay Straithairn, Alex left the band shortly after this.

It is more than shared chords, it is the same note for note.

@ Shannon Rebecca , Pink Floyd is a good idea for the mechanism can be, Dawes leaves me only the feeling =)

I'd love to hear Chris Cornell do a sexy, slow-grind version of this.

this reminds me of Jackson Browne...a little to slow for me, but very well done.

A good artist doesn't borrow, he steals. Some shared chords, that's all...there's only 12 notes you can play...give 'em a break.
