      Yo, Jim, I know you’re wanting to remain anonymous which is why you’re blurring your face but as a note of caution, people who know their way around editing software can completely undo that. I do not know how they do it, I just had a friend back in high school who told me it could be done. Hopefully no one will use that to expose you but just looking out for you, man.
      Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t get scammed.(.. again. RUclips might not be as forgiving about giving you your channel back.)

    The voice pitch modifier is actually genius. If you managed to make this somehow into a virus that could spread among scammers' computers, I believe this would drastically reduce the likelihood of anyone being scammed. And scammers would still have no idea. Absolutely brilliant.

    • @MY5TER10U5
      @MY5TER10U5 3 months ago

      Smart idea.. easiest way to do it
      Deploy the exe when they take control of a computer, have it go through the local network, any machine on that same network is infected, the perfect way to disrupt the larger call centres!

    • @generic_youtube_name3
      @generic_youtube_name3 3 months ago +108

      Exactly, incredible! We talk about safeguards, authentication, and other means; but simply the ridiculousness of the voice pitch erodes all credibility in the mind of the potential victim. It immediately severs the expected transactional nature of these (faux) service phone calls - and the human to human connection that they rely on

      @Cheetohfingerz the joke is that the old person's he's pretending to be isn't familiar with Anydesk and mishears it as "Any Dex." It has nothing to do with the Indian accent.

      @ifox11CZ Not sure how this works in UK, but in germany, they get their id and make sure they know how to find them. Then let him free as long as he is no severe danger to the public. He'll face court. But putting every 3rd random to prison is not how we live here.

      Hmmmmmmmmm

    • @alberthanson1971
      @alberthanson1971 3 months ago

      @kevino4372 It isn't that law enforcement doesn't know how to combat scammers. When crossing international borders, the Federal Government has to get involved. But that's not the only reason. There is massive corruption in various 'law enforcement' groups in some countries where these officers accept bribes from the scammers so they look the other way. I've taken another approach as a retiree from a telephone company. In the e-mails I've received there is a telephone number to call. What I've been doing is to report the telephone number of the scammer to the service provider of the telephone number and have had some success in getting those telephone numbers disconnected. I just wish that some of these companies selling U.S. telephone numbers to international locations would be diligent to determine the nature of the use and take immediate action against these boilerroom operations if it's found they're involved in scamming.

    • @prodigalbrock

    • @strengthinunity4322
      @strengthinunity4322 Month ago

      @TheCardinalFang Slight context I do wanna add that for the US its actually the opposite situation. Criminals arent armed because of how armed the police are, the police got more armed because of how armed the criminals can be. Up until the North Hollywood Shootout where bank robbers with long guns fired nearly 2000 rounds of ammunition over a 44 minute firefight, police only had small revolvers and no body armor. That incident changed American policing to where it is today, as in it, cops literally had to await SWAT and also try to grab better guns from nearby gun stores to stand a chance.

I actually am an old retired woman with a sense of humor and think it’d be fun to scambait, but I’m not savvy enough to protect my computer. My son turned me on to the scambaitingverse on RUclips a few years ago, and it’s been the source of much joy for me. I feel like a teenager who's meeting all their favorite celebrities. I kept screaming with each baiter I recognized. I can't believe I didn't see this sooner. I've been a huge fan of scan baiters for years back when scam baiting was still a new concept. I actually had people make fun of me for being such a stan/fan & now they watch as well. Really happy to see all of the heavy hitters come together regardless of style &/or tools used, in one spot, for one heroic campaign. I'm going to shut up now Bcuz I could go on & on. So f****** excited😅

    Back in the days, 1970s-80s, I was a medic assigned to an Army Ranger Battalion. Anywho, nowadays, I am a service-connected totally disabled veteran. Nonetheless, you have inspired me to enroll and pursue a degreee in Cybersecurity Technology. And, in the meanwhile, I have optained a certificate as an IT Professional and I am in the process of getting a Cybersecurity Professional certificate. With your inspiration, in my golden years I can, at least, prepare, and put me back in the fight, for the battle against risks, threats, vulnerabilites, and the like. Anyway, I have much respect for you, and again, thank you for the inspiration.

      Caught my mom mid call with the 'IRS,' got her out of the call with a hand written note saying it's a scam. She drove to the local IRS office to double check everything. After her meeting, she happened to run into a man who was a Latino immigrant who was terrified he and his family were going to be deported. He had already payed the scammer $3k and they were demanding more. She calmed him down, explained everything I had told her. She connected him to the agent who helped her.

      @GxTorrid so your plan is to tax American, British or Australian people more because India and others won't fix their scammer problem? Importers pay the tariffs, and they pass on the higher costs to consumers aka you.

    I like calling scammers on my throw away number. I like being a Hispanic/Chicano sounding dude. I enjoy using the name "Chavez" cos many scammers, mainly from South Asia, struggle with that name and other Spanish names. I also ramble as a retired military veteran (which I am). So when they say "have you been to those places," my response is, "Yes, at whatever military installation." And if that state lacks good military installation to mention, I make one up. They don't know anything.

    I loved the very first People's Call Center and have been waiting for at least a year for this video mate, and watching this today got me so hyped! The whole chase got me pumped up, wish y'all could do more of these in other countries!

      Me, too. I just watched last year's the other day because I needed some justice. Kind of cool to know that they were actually filming when I felt the strong urge to go for another round of the people's call center.
