You can tell that Intamin learned a lot from Expedition GeForce and Goliath. Those two were already amazing, but you can tell that they were built over 20 years ago, and there were a lot to improve on those rides. That was probably the best they could do back then, but Kondaa takes those two rides and just up'd the thrill level, managed to do some crazy maneuvers, and also take influence from Rocky Mountain Construction as well. This new generation of Intamin coasters is really cool, and it's nice to see Intamin still be the ground-breaking, innovative manufacturer that they were and still are. I think Intamin and Walibi Belgium did a phenomenal job with the overall experience, and I think it made the €25,000,000 (approximately $26.7 million USD) price worth it.

Also worth mentioning: Kondaa in the back row in the evening is incredible. I rode Kondaa the first week that it opened, and it's an entire different ride a year later. It really needed to 'ride in'. Also, the necessary comparison with ride to happiness: while rth is more unique and sensational, I'lll always choose Kondaa because I can actually ride Kondaa twice without vomiting.
the theming of this coaster really is underrated, its area is the abandoned part of the rest of the African themed park and the best detail is the pieces of fabric dangling from the ceiling in the station: they’re pieces of skin that the snake has shed
Love Kondaa, more than EGF actually, but the first drop in the last row on EGF is definitely more crazy, if even only because of the longer trains on EGF. The laterals are stronger for sure.

just rode it 2 days ago, also around 7 rides, and had to go back to your review because I didn't remember your outcome 😀honestly, people here might hate me, but I can't put it higher than 7.5... To me also the first 3 elements are absolute perfection, and a 100% back row recommendation. Just nothing of the remaining ride can keep up I felt like, maybe except for the "throwing you left and right" entry into the bunny hill section. Non-inverting cobra almost kills the ride after the spectacular begin, airtime hill is nice, the turns I think are better on Goliath because they are longer and have more "subjective" positive G's there, and the bunny hills felt like bringing the train back to the station in a rather uncreative way. Especially when you know that a roll was on the table, yes, only inversion, but also, it's a snake theme, both Maverick's and Veloci's rolls are over water: make a water puddle snake pit and roll over that, feels almost logical. Still had a lot of fun of course, but every time I got off my first thought was that it could have been world-class, had they just continued what they started with the beginning section.
Couldn't agree more with your review. Excellent ride but also I did not care for the non inverted cobra roll and the wave turn. They felt a bit forceless/pointless to me. The rest of the layout slaps though.
I personally like the way down from the non-inverted cobra roll. If you're seated on the right and tilt your body to the right before going down, it has a really fun, flying-like feeling.
Intiman really seems like they just try to avoid super-whippy moments after all the blackout complaints from I305. The coaster still looks dope as heck though!
Walibi being my current home park, I got a lot of rides on Kondaa, though admittedly not this past year as I was focused on other things. I agree with almost all of your takes on the layout, though I feel like everything from the non-inverting cobra-roll on (minus the quick airtime hill directly following it) gets more and more tame. I prefer a coaster that starts tame and ends strong than the other way around, it's anti-climatic. I think either Kondaa needed to a bit taller or all the snake-like elements needed to be tighter. As for Expedition G-Force, I couldn't disagree more! I think it destroys Kondaa in intensity. I agree the layout is much more traditional, but I just love the non-stop transition from ejector air to forceful turns and then that lineup of bunny hills to finish is just amazing. Same thing that makes me love SROS at SFNE and Magnum XL200. Finishes super strong and I just want more! The 2nd half of Kondaa just feels really drawn out and like it losses more and more intensity, whereas Expedition G-Force just doesn't let up at all.
I feel the score is low. I've pretty much rode all the elite stuff here in the US and if you ask me the biggest bucket list coasters in Europe would be: Zadra, Wildfire, Untamed, Ride to Happiness, Kondaa, Taiga, Expedition GeForce, Toutatis (Once it opens), Schwur des Karnan, Lech Coaster, Hyperion, and maybe Taron and FLY. Kondaa seems elite and warrants a better score than 8.5 from what I've heard from other people that have ridden the coaster.
There is an obvious comparison between this and Hyperion, both of which I rode last year. Both are modern Intamins that start with an Out-n-Back section and transition into a spaghetti bowl. Kondaa has more airtime and rides smoother. Hyperion has the better capacity, the face-ripping speed and better whip. I like Kondaa better. It has better pacing and airtime, it just seems to do a bit more, and while the cobra roll may be slightly disappointing, isn't as much of a dead spot as that one dead hill on Hyperion.
Is Intamin your favourite manufacturer now as from the RMC's I have ridden whilst still amazing they have not got the quantity that Intamin has especially rides like Taron, Velocicoaster, Shockwave, Kondaa, Hyperion, Goliath, Expedition GeForce, El Toro and some new ones that I am riding this year, Intimidator 305, Taiga, Toutatis, Batman Escape from Gotham, Colossos, Piraten, Balder, Superman the Ride, Superman RIde of Steel, Pantheon, Tornado, Skyrush, Storm Runner, Flying Aces, Formula Rossa, Unamed Intamin Blitz, Storm Coaster, Desert Race and maybe even Speed Monster to name a few.

Can you guys do a review on voltron coaster cuz there is quite a bit more information about the layout now, in regards to previous video about voltron coaster
You got unlucky on that non-inverting cobra roll judging by your POV. I rode it a month ago and it goes pretty fast in that element. Also the newer POVs show the coaster hauling through the layout
They could always replace the non-inverted cobra roll with a traditional cobra roll ;-) Kondaa is indeed better, than Expedition G-Force and Goliath, but not better, than any RMC or Ride to Happiness... Greetings from the Netherlands!
"Most of this ride is goes out behind trees, and all you can see is the lift, drop, and first airtime hill." Sounds like another Intamin mega I know all too well.
No clue why they call that element and non inverting loops, non inversions. It totally turns you upside down. Like, there's definitely points where you're on your back or facing the sky.
I really want to ride Kondaa but when i'm in front of it i'm just nailed to the floor as i think about the airtime moment of the ride, I really cant get over the airtime
What I feel about Taylor is that he finds something unpleasant on coaster and then start roasting it. It really depends on his mood which is not as criticism should work but on the other hand we need someone like him in TOP coaster community. Always appreciate different opinion. Maybe not objective but it is better than always saying „Oh Wow, I loved that ride, 10/10 etc.” .
U and Canobie Coaster have a bit different opinions of this ride, even though that's normal and u still like it. Because when he made his top 40 intamin coasters, he had Konda as his favorite. BTW Rip to the Wildfire outro
The scores are mean to be compared to other rides of a similar calibur- so Pantheon would be best compared to other multiple launch coasters, and Kondaa other mega coasters

Aaaa PortAventura as the outro🫶 home park rep!!!
New outro? :D
It looks great, a huge improvement over the old one
"Most of this ride is goes out behind trees, and all you can see is the lift, drop, and first airtime hill."
Sounds like another Intamin mega I know all too well.
Found the first video with the PortAventura outro 😅
Intamin kinda looks a bit like vekoma now with that drop and tuberler track
Vekoma copied them lmao
I'd like to see a cobra roll with a heartline roll in the middle of it, yes it would have to be a longer-sized Cobra roll, but I'm down 2 clown.
A NEW OUTRO!?????? WHaaaaat?
8.5 is kind of insane
its in his top 25 and both leviathan and boardwalk bullet did not like wtf lol
No clue why they call that element and non inverting loops, non inversions. It totally turns you upside down. Like, there's definitely points where you're on your back or facing the sky.
doesn’t hit 135 degrees, so it doesn’t invert
I think it’s Intamins best hyper/mega coaster 9.9
I really want to ride Kondaa but when i'm in front of it i'm just nailed to the floor as i think about the airtime moment of the ride, I really cant get over the airtime
I don't why this shot of the guy and girl feels like a meme: 2:03, just look at the body language.
Trick Track Double Down (from EliteCoasters)
Is velosicoaster good?
very!
U and Canobie Coaster have a bit different opinions of this ride, even though that's normal and u still like it. Because when he made his top 40 intamin coasters, he had Konda as his favorite. BTW Rip to the Wildfire outro
For every 10 intamin coasters there is 1 decent one. This company have annoyed me so many times over the years. I will get out and ride this soon.
the guy with his phone on 6:27
6:27 put ur phone away!!
New outro!
So you like pantheon better than Kondaa because you gave pantheon a score of 9
The scores are mean to be compared to other rides of a similar calibur- so Pantheon would be best compared to other multiple launch coasters, and Kondaa other mega coasters
2 things...first..kondaa or hyperion
Second..is kondaa a baby hyperion.
❤😮😊
i LOVED this coaster, the only thing i dont love is the combination of belgian cloud chasers and this coaster
Belgian cloud chasers?
@@StamfordBridge yes.
@@motrydooto1698 What's a Belgian cloud chaser? Is it someone from Belgium chasing clouds? So, they walk up the lifthill to try and touch the clouds and then get in your way when you want to ride? Belgian clout chasers could also make sense, but let's hear it?
@@Marty_NZ 💀💀 no its someone on a social media platform trying to get as much views as possible. They will do anything in their might to do so, that means including disadvantaging others
@@motrydooto1698 Yeah I think that's called clout chasing, not cloud chasing. Wouldn't there be more clout chasers for Ride of Happiness though? That's why I love Kondaa more since it's the underdog.
Overrated coaster. Skyrush is better
False.
