The prospector is not defeated yet he and his sidekicks the blacksmith and the gunslinger has Woody and Jessie trapped on the airplane. This is it space ranger you must defeat this band of bad guys to complete the game avoid the gunslinger as he shoots his pistols and watch out for the slam attacks of the blacksmith and once they are defeated set your eyes onto the prospector avoid his ax and use your wing span to really hurt him. Once you defeat all the bad guys you'll save Woody and Jessie and you would win the game.
Sidenote: Focus first on the gunslinger, he Is the only one who Is vulnerable to laser attacks. You have to consider that the prospector and the blacksmith are faster than him, so you have to run back and forth around the plane so they don't tank the hits for him. Once he Is down focus on the blacksmith to get rid of His annoying shockwaves, giving a single spin attack avoinding the blacksmith's shockwave like in His solo fight. If you keep moving Is very unlikely that the prospector hits you. Once it's you vs the prospector just give simple spin attacks and keep moving around him. And presto, that's how you deal with these wild west juguetes.
I think so, besides what else could´ve been the final boss there? In the movie there was only the airplane so maybe make it a time trial before the plane takes off, plus the 3 bosses
there's lots of factors that lead me to believe that the finale was rushed out, likely due to them not being able to reach the deadline, hence the apparently lazyness present here
@@yuytftyu4207 I can't stress enough how well this music fits on Stanley's showdown. This song it's so surprisingly epic, that i don't believe it's even real. Props to the one who composed this masterpiece.
@@yuytftyu4207 In fact, i wanna use this music as the boss theme of one of the bosses in my Sonic fan game i'm planning to make. The name of this project is called "Sonic Blur"
For a shitty stupid kid's game (that I still play once every 2 years because nostalgia) it sure had some damn good music. I also don't remember it sounding this crisp. I'm assuming it was remastered.
@@trevorsgamingroom5284 You're absolutely right, the N64 was pretty much the only had from that era. I did have PC since the mid-90s, but I never knew Toy Story 2 was a PC port... is it really?
Imagine what the movie would be like if Stinky Pete had the Gunslinger and Blacksmith as his goons.
It's funny cause imagine if those two characters were actually canon
@@adamsteel4098 If Stinky Pete weren't enough, they'd give Woody & Jessie a hard time if they dare try to escape.
If they did, I could see Clint Eastwood as the Gunslinger and Billy Bob Thornton as the Blacksmith
In the movie they would defiantly need help from utility belt Buzz and maybe even Zurg if they wanted to stop them.
@@bigtrevvy Yeah.
After Tarmac Trouble: “Man, that blacksmith boss was tough! Glad I don’t have to deal with him again!”
Boy, I was in for a nasty shock.
That Blacksmith was tedious but I didn't find him too difficult, was just a matter of whittling him down haha
That Blacksmith guy is so intimidating. Wish he would be in movie somehow
And after the battle, Woody has an open smile in the PS1 version, and he looks hypnotized in the N64 version.
That feeling when you hear Buzz's boss theme's motif from the first Toy Story game.

Both times the prosecutor calls Buzz “space toy”.

This final boss fight was great, but were the game developers running out of ideas for bosses at this point?

@@Vinaltor the gunslinger and blacksmith is interesting, but that's non canon. Because those 2 characters never appeared in the movies
No the finallevel is the three bosses
If you think about it those 3 were the only mini bosses that didn't explode after Buzz defeated them
