Only 19 comments.WoW !! Get out of here really seriously I was surfing old big Chuck and Little John and I found this the original song the original singer I always wonder watching Drew Carey where that song came from.I love Drew Carey but I don't think he had anything to do with writing that it's just not his forte but finding this after I've moved out of Ohio. For the last year 45 years I have lived there,,previously in Warren Youngstown I grew up on Big Chuck and little John my father would tell me about houlihan and gilardi it was like the world stopped in Northeast Ohio when the show came on but I don't recall seeing this. But I give you big kudos for posting this cuz it made me smile I live in Colorado now and I miss Ohio but I don't miss the BS in Ohio these days and I look back on my childhood and growing up during this wonderful era that I got to enjoy all of this! I found out traveling all over the United States for 7 years driving trucks there's nowhere else that had this kind of element on TV and now that I found this sitting here reminiscing about Ohio I looked up big Chuck and Little John and and now I'm going to show everybody at the fire department tomorrow when I go in this is going to spread like wildfire out here is Colorado country folk are going to get a taste of some City good comedy
I was down in New Philadelphia, but I would watch them and Art Lafredo, Captain Penny, the Ghoul, Mr. Jingaling at Christmas, even later Super Host for the monster movies. Great times! One time for the fourth of July parade Hooligan and Big Chuck came right down our street in a convertible with the roof down. They were sitting in the back seat where normal your head would rest. They were only a few yards away from me. Years later the Ghoul came to my high school when I was there. He was wild and kind of crazy. My cousin, my brother and I created Super Ghoul. The superman body with Ghoul head and he put his foot through it after we spent hours making it. It took him months to show it while his art department created a cut out Super Ghoul. Our Super Ghoul was better. I wonder how many people remember the Big Chuck skit as Eul Gibson? Stosh was one of my favorite characters with the Polka Place music. I also like the Little Rascal music they used. Great skits, half a head of lettuce and this fine gentleman would like the other half, the genie your mother-in-law gets double what you get "I want you to beat me half to death.", Tick, Tick, Tick, Nazi "We have ways to make you Tock.", Bit by a snake in the rear doctor says your going to die, shoot first and ask questions later bang why is that old timer?, the certain ethic motorist, Big Chuck vacation. So many other wonder skits.
Bring back this show !
This should have 18 million views, not 18 thousand. Shame on you, America!

And to think that Drew Carey couldn't cough up the money to use it for he's show.
Maranantha
I wonder if it's too late to send away for the sheet music?
Probably from1988 as "Don't Worry be Happy" is playing in the background @ the beginning-
I alway loved the shot of the drum for the entries to get on the show as it only contained one card....
Who got the last laff?
he got the hook as part of the skit...note he started messing up at the end on purpose.
We didn't make it safely through Linndale.

I'll be the second to buy it, after you. Some things only a homesick Buckeye can appreciate :)
