Little Firework is practising for a big parade. When he steps up to perform, Little Firework finds he is completely silent and grows very worried - how can he be a firework if he can’t make a sound? Overwhelmed by the whooshing and banging of the parade Little Firework retreats into the quietness of a nearby wood where he befriends a small moth. The small moth loves Little Fireworks' quietness. Comforting Little Firework, she encourages him to explore all the wonderful things you can do when you’re feeling quiet. Through splashing in puddles, crunching in leaves and twirling with fireflies, Little Firework discovers he shines brightest and happiest when he embraces his quietness.
