Justice Lord Superman is DEFINITELY one of his best looks of all time. Add to the fact that the Justice Lords concept is a VERY iconic part of the DCAU & DC in general... Then you get the picture. 🎉

If you can get your hands on it you should definitely check out the McFarlane Black Lightning figure, easily one of the best DC figures by mcfarlane toys, probably up there with Azrael Batman and the page punchers Black manta

This justice lord superman and terry mcginnis figures are from the batman beyond 2.0 comic titled justice lords beyond. Also yes the justice lord suit is one the best looks for superman. But its not my favorite, that goes to his recovery suit.
1. Yeah, I’d say best look. But the episode of Justice League where that look comes from is incredible. Straight up kills Luthor, becomes a Father Knows Best dictator. Much prefer this Superman arc compared to he goes crazy and becomes a murderous villain. Cape is not asymmetrical. 2. Red. I really hate this look for Batman Beyond. Really want Superman, really don’t want Beyond tbh.
I agree those cardboards look silly when they don't match however imagine this: a Spider-Man wave where the cardboards inserts put together would match to form a NY cityscape. Or an Iron Man wave that the cardboards would form an armor garage or the inside of one of his workshops. Or a villains wave and the cardboards would form the lair of AIM or Hydra or even Arcade (that would be fun!) So yeah still not there but if we put the idea out there it could happen maybe..? Oh and the McFarlane cards I give away to anyone for free but as far as I remember Todd is a huge card collector so he puts them there as a personal gift and sort of a tradition I think... couldn't care less but I do understand why he does that and I appreciate it from his point of view.

As much as I absolutely love the Justice Lords, I have to point out that the comic this two-pack is based on is terrible. Justice Lords 2.0 fell victim to being forced into the Injustice framework which was popular at the time (2014) even though the Lords predate the story of Injustice. The nuance in the Justice Lords was lost as was the unique world that the show left behind. What could have been instead a great story of redemption and rebirth was turned into Batman v Superman. P. S. The green in the suit comes from the Kryptonite that powers the suit.
Anthony, the face for the Superman is too wide. The jaw looks too bulky and out of proportion and throws the whole figure off. It was the reason I skipped on this release. IMO, except for warworld version and action comics version, Mcfarlane cannot get any Superman figures right. The proportions are always too bulky and weird. For a long time the company reused that awful bizzaro body again and again and wasted so many story arc designs for the sake of cheap releases. For me, the perfect superman proportion would be the upcoming 'smiling' Superman so let's see how that one is in hand. While on a higher price point, my grail Superman is still the Mafex release but hoping someday Mcfarlane gives a classic superman that actually looks decent Thanks for the review as always though!
i think those superman head sculpts they've been releasing are hideous, tha jaw line and base of the head is too thik. In my opinion they haven't released a single acceptable superman. I get they're going for an older look but i don't really like them.

I hate that the cape isnt fitted around his shoulders. Thats so integral to my mental image of Justice Lords Superman.
