1) Frequency is a characteristic of sound which helps us to differ different types of sound.
2) It is the number of vibrations made by an abject in 1 second.
3) Its unit is hertz.
4) human frequency range is 20 hertz to 20,000 hertz.
5) The frequency of the sound determines it's pitch or we can say that frequency is directly proportional to the pitch of sound that is, if the frequency is high than the pitch will also high and if the frequency is low than the pitch will also low.
For example, you can see that a whitsle and a drum, both have different pitch, it means that both have different frequency. Drum have lower frequency therefore lower pitch and whitsle have higher frequency therefore higher pitch
