I, and several others, asked in chat "what is a cutie mark" and I only just now remembered that the Ponies have little insignias to display their theme or power or emotion or whatevers, I think that's what it is. 🤣😅
Unfortunately, I can confirm that that's indeed what it means. I don't know if the current generation still has this, but the most popular, FiM generation, did have that as a constant reminder of each character's "quirk" or lack thereof.
