The other day, my daughter was at Walmart, and two guys followed her around the store for an hour. She would go to look at random shit just to see if they were following her and sure as shit they were. She called me, and I kept her on the phone and told her to speak loudly, saying things like, " Yeah, they are, call 911. Yeah, I'll go get security, but stay on the phone with me. " As soon as she said 911, they started walking away towards the front on the store. I still had her keep me on the phone until she got safely into my car. We've had people get snatched just out in public and taken into a van. There's a video online of a girl at a hotel fighting off people trying to drag her out. That's here. So I just say, cross the street, talk loud, make yourself look crazy if you have to.
Glad your daughter is safe. And very true about having to be careful everywhere. I saw that vid on the news you mentioned. That was scary as hell, yet glad they caught the people trying to traffic that girl.
Never thought I would see Aba and Preach being mentioned on JK news. I mean good for discussions. Edit; it's a few minutes later and I just watched an aba and preach vid lmao
I think its less about eye contact specifically and more about acting confident. In my experience acting like you know where you are and what you're doing can work really well.
One time in Seattle with my friend, this drunk guy started following us... we had to cross the street 3x in a circle and hide behind a bus stop. Thankfully it was a really busy intersection so we hid in the crowd, but WHY US DANG it was scary.
@kiarademoner 😂 smiley eyes reminds me of what Bart said. But that's unfortunate that most if not all women have to have their guards up. Sometimes I walk around with a mean mug like I could be dangerous or something when I see shady characters if I can't avoid them.
Welcome back. You've missed a lot. Joe is married now, to a lovely woman named Hannah. The Careful Boyz all got Bart's matching "fear everyone" tattoo(they have a vid of them getting it). Ryan and his gf, Smac renovated the office in Nov.(they have a vid of the crews first reaction/BTS) And they have a new merch line linked in the description box below the vid, in case you want to check it out.
Female viewer here. I actually do the opposite of what Bart is saying lol. My head is on a swivel but I never make eye contact. In my 15+ years working in Dtla the times I did make eye contact is when I was targeted. I do agree it’s important to not show fear like he said tho.
It's really obvious across these videos how good Ryan is at making normal conversations about Black people and how quickly Anthony checks out of those conversations
As someone who has had to deal with mental health issues, and has had a ton of experience dealing with others going through mental health crisis, idgaf what your condition is, anything you do you deserve to take responsibility for. Your issues aren't anyone else's issues; if you're having an episode, and attack someone, they nor the police should treat you any differently just because you might be crazy or strung out. I'm not crossing the street for anyone, and if they wanna go, we can fkn go...if they're armed, then I'm not wasting the time or energy in fighting, I'm just going to drop them with a few rounds. If they're unarmed, I'm as violent as humanly possible and will fight until one of us is incapacitated. But, I also have "resting dickhead/pissed off face", kinda stocky, and I'm quick to "out crazy" people, so I've never actually had a problem (don't look like an easy target, like a woman or elderly person), and I spent years walking all around Houston (Spring Branch, Greenspoint, Downtown, etc), as an extra white dude. I have had to run off the occasional crackhead or bum, but never actually had to use force. It was also difficult to find weed, because everyone thought I was a cop all the time; I finally got someone to tell me it was the way I carried myself, something left over from the Army, I guess (walking with my shoulders back and chest out, and subtly scanning for threats all the time). But, I finally realized, at 34 years old, that my experiences on the streets aren't the norm; I can't tell a woman to "man up", or use tactics that I use, because we're not the same. I have a bit of "male privilege", I suppose, in that I have the stature and ability to defend myself with relative ease in most situations and dissuade potential criminals from engaging me, but women don't have it that easy. Every woman is a target for criminals, and they have to work much harder to appear to be hard targets than people like me, Nick, or Bart (the other guys of JK too, but especially Nick and Bart). I've always kinda wanted to start a women's self defense school, but I don't want to seem like those douchebags that peddle some ineffective BS to try to pick up chicks; I'm happily married, I just want to share the things I've learned as a soldier, correctional officer, from going to college for intelligence studies (concentration in analysis, counterintel, or criminal intelligence; haven't decided yet, but need to soon because I'm about to be down to just concentration classes), and life experiences as a man growing up poor and struggling to survive for the first couple decades of life, such as living on the streets of Houston for a time, or being homeless in a rural area. Things like how men and criminals think, body language and threat indicators, improvising weapons, weak points in human anatomy, and how to be as violent as possible when necessary (violence of action is what wins any fight).
I remember getting out of my car and walking to the grocery store and I walk pass a car and I hear the doors lock as a walk pass a woman's car. Now I do I to every woman to see their reaction
Its actually a old gentlemans way to walk on the footpath side to put a lady on the safe side , or put himself infront or in-between any potential threats , times are very different now.

@@fernandalee4888 thank you!
@bethnichols2875 thank you! Yeah, that's crazy, I've been to that hotel.
That's terrifying, I'm proud of your daughter's situational awareness and the subsequent actions she took to ensure her own safety. Great parenting ❤
I start to bark so she knows I’m a good boy 🐶
😂
Good boys don’t bark, they shake hands and then show belly
Eye contact is always a tricky one. People literally get killed for eye contact sometimes.
5:20 Steve: “ do guys wear that 🤨”
😂🤣😭
As a female and a fellow White Steve would sketch me out the most 😂
Specially because he wears DC shoes in 2024
@glopez7488 lmao, he'd probably step on the back of my head lol jk
I’m cryin “i purposely sit at the aisle” how does Bart think of this shit really gotta watch out for the aisle seat pervs 😂
All these stories of getting attacked is one of the reasons we need to uphold our 2nd rights. Buy a gun, carry it, be safe.

Hassler: "You got a light?"

I watched some of their videos. They have some really good takes and are hilariously funny.
Two worlds collided 😳
I literally came from that exact video to this one😂😂

Nick with the sound effects @15:13😂😂
Aba and Preach made it to JKNEWS!!!!
Imagine if they guested on JK news 🤪🤨
If it’s at night I either cross to the other side of the street or I slow my pace so that I’ll never catch up to her (I’m a fast walker lol)

completely off topic but anthony looks reeeallly good this ep lol
18:40 had me dead 🤣💀
I’m beyond alert everywhere I go. And I carry my gun everywhere. Unfortunately I know I’m easy to attack. I’m 5’1” and very petite.
Do you have a RBF? I heard it helps to have a RBF to deter random guys.

Julia is cute but her ideals are wack.
😅 so I'm not the only one that had a crush on Julia back in the day
Julia actually transitioned and is the dude sitting next to Bart
Yeah I try to look as scary as possible.
are doctors refusing to treat infections making people crazy, or psychiatric prescriptions making them nuts, seems like it.
