- There's a cargo ship resting somewhere in the ocean. And there's a very special cargo container onboard. It's time to barge in...
This animation is based on Payday 2 game by Overkill Software - a Starbreeze Studio. There's no ship heist in the game... yet, so i quickly invented one and implemented it in this action piece.

This action movie was done in three and a half weeks including model development, mapping, texture work, animating, sound design and music composing. It took me 9 hours to render the whole thing with various rendering samples and about an hour to render the final piece in post production.

I like how you only need one cable to lift a container, but 4 to lift a money pallet
yea that tiny little hook would actually just rip a hole in the top of the container without lifting it. there's a few mistakes in this, but overall the concept is good.

Patrick Ster What would be the point of the Historical Pack? The Gage WW1 weapons are different from the Gage History Pack, and what does it hurt to add more historical weapons? Especially with the hype over Battlefield 1 and The Great War.

Maybe he means stealthing until you find the cargo.
Oh yeah, I forgot about how guards don't give a shit when doors that are supposed to be locked are open, unless it's a power box, we can't have that.
you have to think about when he says it. at the beginning he doesn't know where the container is. he's saying stealth is optional because he doesn't care if you go loud or not. if you can manage to get in and get out without being seen, he's fine with it.
just because there is a turn of events that force you to go loud does not mean the person planning the heist didn't believe at the start that stealth was an option.
saying stealth is optional and believing the cargo container was for sure going to be on top where they could grab and go was simply poor planning on the part of the person talking. as if we haven't seen plans go wrong before? (as part of storyline)
look at cook off; there's a heist where you are supposed to go in quietly, kill a few drug dealers (that won't set off any alarms) and force their cooks to make you some meth. but what happens? they shoot their own cooks and someone calls the cops on you. the entire plan falls apart in the first 2 minutes of the heist and you are forced to cook your own meth while under siege from cops.
guess what? that's the not the only heist where the storyline forces you into a scenario that wasn't planned for by the character setting up the heist

Stealth/Loud
If this goes loud, you have 7 minutes to do all objectives and escape
Guards are the only enemies, but once 7 minutes passed, enemies start to spawn in a huge spawn rate to the point where the gang get cornered
Achievements -
Worthy of a Saxxy - Finish a heist within 4 minutes (Because in the video it after going loud, they do it in 4 minutes)
Draw me like one of your french girls - Survive 5 minutes after backup arrives
Fish A.I. pt. 2 - Send a body bag under water
Nothings going on - Finish Ship Heist in stealth without killing anyone on Death wish or above
We've got enough time - Steal all additional loot before the timer goes off

to me it looks liek yacht heist witch was deleted in alfa of pd th and again deleted in pd 2 alfa then again added (golden crusie and part of original one from pd th yacht heist was taken for modelink safehosue)

They have the brains to install the Silent Killer mod(Wich disable pagers on stealth kills) but they don't hide the bodies?
Silent Killer isnt part of the game anymore.
PauloVitorHMK i think that mod is kind of a cheat, being able to kill everyone on the map without raising the alarm is cheat-y
If you use it, you're only declaring yourself a noob who can't stealth at all, in front of people that join your lobby..

This is so cool. I love the way action was done in this. It feels like a proper movie. One critism though: It would have been nice to hear a few more voicelines from the crew while the mission went on. Like say Dallas shouting "SNIPER DOWN" when taking care of it.

KISMET is a Sadun Boro's ship. He is a turkish.
Sadun Boro (1928 - June 5, 2015) was the first Turkish amateur sailor to circumnavigate the globe by sailing.
His 10.5 m (34 ft)-long sloop was laid down at the workshop of Athar Beşpınar in Salacak neidhborhood of Üsküdar, Istanbul in 1963, and namedKısmet (Turkish for "Fortune"). The sail, he manufactured in the textile plant, he was working at Çukurova, southern Turkey.

Amazingly done! I honestly had a bit of trouble realizing this was all produced in engine at first, the animations were so well executed.
it looks awesome but am pretty sure that if you've had more time into you would have made it look way better
I pretty much rushed it, because i have a pretty limited time. But yeah, it would've been much more detailed and better looking.
Tbh this has to be better than most of the actual payday 2 animations that overkill did,like seriously good job,the only thing i would have liked was a bit more dialogues from the characters but overall it was incredible!
Well, there are several things that prevented me from adding more Payday crew lines:
a) I can extract audio from PD2, but voice files are messed up and very hard to sort. It would take me a few days to sort stuff out just for like 10 phrases.
b) Recording stuff in game is pretty hard, because there are either background noises, or that mod can only play few gameplay related voice files.
Yeah i got what you mean don't worry it was pretty awesome nonetheless especially the soundtrack which i see you made yourself :)
