Beatriz Soares...yep, happy that she’s comfortable & doing more hip hop freestyle but she doesn’t look confident. She’s intimidated coz she nails the choreo like a parrot but then she loses her way & always resorts back to a ballet move in her freestyle. I know I’m being super harsh coz I wish I could do 5% of what she does coz she is one of the best dancers I have ever seen regardless of age. It’s just when you’ve watched her for sooo long & her body moves so fluidly & effortlessly that her hip hop freestyle seems forced by comparison. She will get there coz she’s a pro🙌🏻🙌🏻
Victory Road: I have noticed more confidence in her hip hop freestyle these days though. And now that she is finally teaching classes, her confidence will continue to grow.

@@victoryroad5264 Just wanted to say that I love seeing this thoughtful, nuanced criticism in the comments of a RUclips dance video, rather than the usual stanning of everyone's favourite dancers that goes - on regardless of how good the actual dancer did. I wish there was a forum where people could actually talk about this stuff more critically without getting eaten alive.
