The sellotape thing works a treat, I was sure there was a hardware / software issue but 1 minute with a large needle and the sellotape and it sounds amazing now, so loud and clear

The grill on my LG phone has holes too small for even a paper clip. I had to use the pointy end of the smallest curtain hanging hooks I could find in my junk tray,pretty much sewing needle size tip. Straightened out the hook so I could spin it like a drill bit between my fingers and used a magnifying glass to find each hole as I GENTLY pushed and spun it in each hole. Listened to a voicemail to test and it worked perfect. You wouldn't want to use a tip that small on bigger holes because it might go in too far and do damage...I had my phone in a shirt pocket as I sanded drywall on a cieling which plugged the tiny holes right up.

If you turn up your volume up all the way and it sounds like it’s very low on volume, check if your screen recording! I was screen recording and I turned it off and I could hear my full volume lol!

@@reddeadrat7734 If you’re screen recording ,some red bar will appear on top of your phone and if you swipe down where u check like ur wifi or airplane mode there will be like a circle with another circle and it will be red but not many phones have the screen recording feature
