I’m also one of them😂. It was the ONLY change I made to my hair routine and it was a devastating decision ( never on scalp or daily at all). This is just my own experience though. Everyone’s hair responds differently to products. I’ve never had that reaction with anything else so it was easy for me to just stop using it since it was clear my 4c hair didn’t like it AT All. I wasn’t even aware it was so popular until I started hearing about it After my own experience. Thankfully I didn’t loose much and my hair is thriving now but it’s a real thing for many women out there❤
I have hip length, thick natural hair. I used the rosemary drops for 1 week, and my hair was shedding in balls! I threw it in the trash. Yes that product definelty caused me shedding! I have used rosemary oil products from other brands, and have not experienced adverse effects. Honestly, now I only use salon quality products geared to non-blacks. I like Kenra, It's a 10, Paul Mitchell, etc.
Salon quality products can be used on all hair types though. I know you're trying to make a point, but hair type does not equal race... Unless you believe in pseudo-race eugenics 🙈
it is damage control. P&G is notorious for changing to cheaper formulas. How do I know? I worked as a temp during the 80's. Though I loved the job, I worked in the department where we handle complaints (and there were a lot of them from Olay to Tide and food) so yeah, I believe that P&G shenanigans did cause damage and shame on Mielle just going along not to mess with her money. She better hope that P&G don't throw her under the bus.
She doesn’t even own it anymore. That’s what confused me when she kept making statements. I guess she just is on the defense because it was her brand for years and she feels like she still needs to clap back but nah…she sold it so she needs to let those white folks handle it.
@@shaniaT10 nah cause she sold it back in January of last yr but her and her husband still run it in the sense of marketing but P & G are just the suppliers. They cannot reformulate without her or her husbands say so. So if she’s saying that they didn’t reformulate it could be a possibility that p&g could’ve went the cheaper route using the same ingredients. Maybe the conditions in the factory or lab is different. Maybe the change in the supplier is reacting with different products in a way that could break their hair off. Idk. That’s why mo just needs to be quiet and do some investigating and figure it where things are going wrong but i also don’t think it’s wise to oil your scalp when you have sebum in your scalp anyway. I only put oil on my ends that rub against my shirt. To honestly believe that that oil grows your hair is so silly because it’s scientifically proven that nothing topically will grow your hair. The feeling of the tingling from the mint will stimulate blood circulation and flow for hair growth as does massaging the scalp but hair growth is an internal process. That’s why i think it’s just silly in general. But here we are.
@@Planetunknown-n9i No, P&G did reformulate it because they purchased it. How do I know? Again, the original Oil of Olay consisted of water, glycerin, rosewater (which was the main component and the reason for it's distinctive scent) and a few other ingredients (including preservatives). My mother used Oil of Olay for a mere $3.95 for a 16 oz bottle! When P&G purchased it from the original owner/company the formula changed. When P&G marketed it to asian countries (Japan, Thailand, Korea etc). there was a lawsuit because it made consumers break out in hives, rashes and even damaged skin. So yeah, P&G purchased the formula from Mielle. I mean why buy the company and not the formula? Same with Shea Moisture. It goes down a rabbit hole. Buyer beware.
I used a Mielle deep conditioner and my hair shed like crazy. I don’t know if people are being paid to lie. I didn’t have hair “loss” but it definitely shed like crazy. To the point where I googled if it caused hair loss and I never used it again.
My cousin recommended the products to me she used the pomegranate and liked it. I bought the green set and only used the shampoo and conditioner. So much of my hair came out, NEVER AGAIN will I use any more of their products.
Essential oils are not put in that much only a sliver. Much of it is artificial scents plus .00000001% of essential oils. It is the allergic reaction with other chemicals that are damaging the hair.
Exactly!!! I was taught that on wash day heat up the needed Essential oils including Indian hemp Blue magic or any hair grease. Let it sit for 2-4 hours. Put a clay mask over it. And rinse thoroughly with AC vinegar and a clarifying shampoo!!! There's no way we should be cooking our scalp with oils. Oils are good but it must be washed out.
I would never put essential oils in my hair on a daily basis, but some people who may not know probably would. Mielle needs to just take responsibility for misleading those who followed those directions that led to hair loss.
I didn’t believe it was causing hair shedding so I went and bought it, used it as directed and my scalp has been sore after 1 use. I said, never again. SMH!
Girl.....stawpe....you did not.....Lol!!! Nope I don't need to believe or not believe. My trichologists already told me no more oils.....So the only oil in my house is olive for cooking!! My skin and scalp are too sensitive in my 40s. There's an oil for your pubic area.......Oh hell no instant BV or yeast for me. I think even the chlorine at my local swimming pool is offsetting my cat!!
Ok now wait a dang minute 😳‼️if I EVER go to a professional & they pull out some Mielle, Shea Moisture, etc, imma gallop my behind out that door so quick, its gonna be a trail of smoke 🏃♀️🐎🤣
Companies won't admit to wrong doing. They would then have to pay on that admittance. It's for the person making the claim to prove what they are claiming against them.
There was a lawsuit against Mielle when it was still k own as “Mielle Organics” back in 2022…..Company sold in 2023 and is now only known as “Mielle”…. Take what you want from that, the Lawsuit was only involving the Rosemary deep conditioner and shampoo not the oil.
This controversy has hurt Mielle badly. People are not buying her products as much. The more she talks about this controversy, the worse things are getting. She should just leave things alone. Eventually, consumers will move on from the issue But no .... she's trying to do damage control
Her rosemary oil definitely had my hair extremely dry and shedding. I stopped using it and threw it in the garbage. I honestly didn’t even need it for my hair. Now I only use design essentials and I keep my weekly hair routine simple.
I believe when she sold the company and it got acquired by xyz company they definitely changed the formula to cheaper ingredients that don't belong on our scalps and just clog the pores on the scalp so xyz company can make money with the newly acquired company mielle. No extensive testing was done to ensure it was safe for hair and scalp, nothing based on science just selling a product based on emotions marketed to black women and they knew they were going to eat it up and they did.
@@IamCynDoll Yes, my hair is so much better. It’s full and thick again. Thank you for always speaking the truth. I believe that I found you on youtube by accident a few years ago. I’ve been telling my mom, sisters, friends and whoever else will listen about your videos. You only want the best for us! 💕
i’m torn because I used her drops and realized they made my head itch like crazy. So I stopped using them. However I bought an edge control that was the rosemary mint and now I have to use minoxidil because the perimeter of where I was using the edge control completely broke off. Mind you I don’t wear braids I have clip ins. so my hair definitely broke off
There are other black natural hair care lines that sold out and didn't have this happen. I wish people would stop saying black women are trying another black woman down. We are the reason for their success and we made it a point to buy from black women for our hair.
You are hilarious in this break down, but I agree it would help if the owner would stop with the gaslighting and take some accountability….btw your sign is cute!
That rosemary line is horrible. I wasn't using the oil everyday, only probably once every week or 2 weeks. The rosemary masque, I used twice over several months. When I say my hair felt like sandpaper😧 the middle of head experienced the most breakage. My hair is waist length and part of the middle is about 3 inches. The front part of my hair also broke badly. After I stopped using, the breakage has slowed and I am now experiencing very little shedding. I hardly ever wear wash and gos or wear my hair out. Mostly in twist or plaits.
It's like when there was Ojon, great products, they sold and it was horrible. Same with Shea Moisture, their Bamboo line was amazing for my hair. They got rid of it. Now I'm a Nexxus/Kenra girl❤
Imma say this and log off! @Cyndoll is 💯 % correct. Essential oils don’t belong on your scalp! Also, I’ve stopped doing a lot of toxic things with my hair. Wash the hair & scalp! Condition the HAIR! Blow dry. For me I just cornrow my hair and keep it moving. Now my hair isn’t shedding as much! It’s growing and getting back healthy again. Keep educating @Cyndoll some of us are listening 👂
I haven’t used it in a minute and i stopped doing a lot of stuff i used to do….but my hair had wayyyyy more shedding using mielle. I was also putting braids in my hair with synthetic hair which also caused a lot of shedding.
@ I didn’t know braiding causes shedding but good to know. I do get braided sometimes. By a person who isn’t doing it right at all! But I’ve learned not to leave them in no longer than 6weeks. 2months tops.
@@IamCynDoll you’re so welcome. You are saving us from being bald headed. 🧑🦲 lol 😂 the ones who want to change their bad habits. Continue to be a blessing. May you receive 10 fold for your services.
I was using her products when it was actually organic and it was good. I started being turned off by her and the way she communicated with her customers on ig. I wasn't done with her until she and her husband doxed, black balled and harassed the youtuber. She has always been nasty and a gaslighter. I'm thankful her poor ethics caused me to stop supporting her
I don't think it was just the ingredients I think it was the instructions on telling the consumers to put on their scalp and hair regularly. Some companies do that because they want people to keep buying it often and they just hope it doesn't mess people's hair up or if so they won't say anything or put it together it's their product that's doing the damage.
You have to use it correctly for your hair and scalp type. My scalp doesn't like oil so I'm not going to use a professional grade oil because I'm not going to use any oil at all. I use prescription, water-based products on my scalp.
Use it and you find out that fat meat is greasy😂🤣 It ruined my wig, because I always wash my wig first with new products. My good wig is still hanging in my closet a tangled mess🤦🏽♀️🫤😂😂
I’ve been using Mielle for years and my hair (and my family’s hair) haven’t had any issues. I will say on my end my hair hasn’t retained length due to me not properly taking care of it. I will just throw some braids in it and not take it down properly. Not washing like I’m supposed to. I know what to do, just being lazy. I’ve tried the oil years ago and nothing happened but I haven’t used it since. I was recently trying another oil but I’m going back to just the basics and making sure that I actually take care of my hair no matter what products I use. For some reason I don’t think that it’s 100% Mielle. But I also don’t think it’s 100% the customers either. I honestly think that a bad batch came out and/or maybe it was improper directions.
Just because it did not happen to you doesn't mean it didn't happen. I mean I used talc powder all my life and don't have cancer or polyps or anything but Johnson and Johnson had to pay out millions due to the cancer lawsuit. Go figure.
Same here. I’ve used it for years and never had issues. But then again i also feel like a lot of black women have been experiencing hair loss for quite a bit these last few years and i think it has a lot to do with inflammation being caused by something else. I also agree the owner shouldn’t have said anything until there was further investigation and research just because so many factors could be at play. Then i also do believe people like to hop on hate trains just to be included into the Tom foolishness. Idk I just find it hard to believe that the whole line just magically all the sudden is makin everyone’s hair fall out all of a sudden at the same time like that when these people had a hard on for Monique since she came after that RUclipsr back in the day. So im skeptical.
@@marjoriethomas1681 completely agree! I do believe that there were some issues on both Monique and the customers. That’s why I mentioned I think it’s not 100% fault on both parties. I just mentioned my experience and the negligence on my part.
@@Planetunknown-n9i agree! I do believe that some of the customers have legitimately loss their hair and I do think it’s due to the products. However I don’t think it’s every single person. I think it’s due to improper use and incorrect directions…which is Monique’s fault for incorrect directions. But I also believe that some people have jumped on the bandwagon. Also we have to be honest like I mentioned in my first comment what accountability are we taking. I know that I wasn’t taking care of my hair. So I wasn’t retaining length no matter what products I was using.
I know they lied, I never knew how simple hair oil could make your hair fall out. Black people have been using hair oral for, and our hair never fall out from it.
Can she really admit that she did anything wrong? Would think that would open her for many lawsuits. Especially if like you said, she was just mixing stuff in the kitchen then started selling. But somehow some kind if long range trials should be conducted. Quickest way to go out of busy is having a product that makes black women hair fall out!!!
Chile it took 2.5 months to grow back a bald spot after using mielle rosemary oil and deep conditioner so after my own results she needs to just take accountability for the damage your products caused 🤬😤
Well, I believe what I've been seeing and hearing. I'm sorry everyone is not after her and/or her products. I believe them enough to the point I didn't purchase any to try.
Hi Jay here, I'm starting to see the Projection Card Being Played. So glad I never bought or used her line, my hair is already thin, omg can you imagine, my 10 hairs would have gone down to 2😮 Your techniques are helping me, I mentioned to you b4 that those 10 hairs have been multiplying n their stronger as well. Patience is a virtue, Thanks for sharing 😊
Since the company has been bought and sold, she could have gotten paid to deny any damages or responsibility. It's no telling what is truly going on. She was better off not saying anything like this.
I totally agree with you on selling Black businesses. I think our people feel betrayed when this happens, but this is just the nature of business. Even talking down one product to boost sales of another. Amazon has tons of fake reviews doing just that. Pepsi had the Pepsi challenge with Coke. It’s how businesses work,no difference if they’re black or white. People need to realize that these are commercials we are watching on RUclips. I’m one of those who found your channel due to the criticism of another influencer. I’m glad I did. I still watch the other as I enjoy hearing opposing views. Then, with that knowledge, I make an educated decision. Thanks for posting.
I appreciate your perspective and how you’ve incorporated it into your decisions. ❤️ Thank you for coming through to make a judgement on me for yourself I appreciate you. ❤
I used Mielle when the rosemary collection first dropped. That oil had my scalp on FIRE! never again!!! I stick with what i know, which are professional products. If it isn't professional, I'm sorry, not sorry, but it's not touching my hair or scalp!
Not ever have have clumps of hair come out of my scalp with the stroke of a brush since I started using a certain product. I washed my hair tf down when to my old standby and the shedding stopped, like my scalp was saying “Thank you Miss Ma’am, now act like you got some sense”
The reason why she will get away with it, if there is probable cause, is because the hair practices of these customers is faulty. It's going to be easy to say in court that "you may have used my oil but you also put egg in your hair and wear tight styles". So yeahhhhhhh This comment are not to those who take care of their hair. 😅
Not the eggs. That’s what I’m trying to say though. You’ve been following RUclipsrs. You’ve been a fruit salad for months. They can’t put it all on her.🤣
These folks aint lyin. I was using the oil and my hairline started disappearing. My edges was thin n experienced soreness. I think they lowkey paid those women off.
I personally have not used Mielle consistently enough to find any issues. I only used their hair mousse. But my best friend who is South Asian used Mielle shampoo and conditioner for a month and it completely dried out her hair and it ruined her hair. She knew it was Mielle because her hair routine is super simple and she only uses shampoo and conditioner. I had to give her my products to use and her hair instantly felt better and it’s getting back to its regular health. I don’t know the ingredients in the Mielle products but it must be drying out people’s hair and therefore causing breakage and fall out. 🥴
I purchased the Pomegranate Honey Twist Souffle and that ish does not do what they claim. It didn't break my daughters hair out, but it is not meant for black folks hair. I ended up throwing the whole jar away.
Maybe she might have some fact to that because I know and have seen many do it to other businesses. But, two things can also be true at the same time. Her company isn't the first to cause hair loss. Many natural nonprofessional brands are causing hair loss as well. I believe it isn't the just because of the products but an accumulation of bad hair habits and the piling of these products and not properly cleansing the scalp.
Yes it’s a combination of the patterns the products are included in.

@@IamCynDoll in other news. cyn I am putting olaplex back into my hair care routine. The directions on the bottles state that it can be used on every wash day. would you say I can use this weekly? My current routine also include perm rod sets weekly.
My hair has fallen out due to this product and it’s sooo stressful I could create a waterfall with the tear of pain I went through watching my hair fall out of my scalp literally, my hair was long and thick then It got super thin and shorter I’m now slowly getting my hair back but it’s been such a journey so micelle needs to stfu!!! frfr
I have pictures right before I used the rosemary oil. A few weeks later my hair was almost completely gone . Same thing happened to my son. Amazon recently took my review down. My hair was soooo thick, I’ve been trying to grow my hair back and it’s taking a long time. My son, too 😢
Mielle rosemary oil that I got from Target burned my scalp and caused my hair to fall out in the back of my head, i had cut my hair uneven from a layered bob look I was going for so I used the oil in that spot only since every said it was good and it burned my scalp and my hair broke off bad. They deff did something to their products
for the clip of the hairdresser that said it used to work great for her clients hair, then shedded and now only uses K18, I'm wondering is it just a grace period where it seems to be harmless and symptoms are showing until the hair starts falling out.
Wait a minute, I tried Mielle deep conditioner last year because of the raves and had the worst shedding in my whole life, I’ve lost so much hair and the damage was real. I had to cut my hair and start over. I threw away all this natural non silicone products, I stopped air drying cuz my hair looks like a lions mane if I air dry and I stopped putting those heavy butter etc on my hair cuz all those things caused me to go bald. I only use professional shampoo and conditioner, Pureology or Redken leave in conditioner, blow dry my hair, finally I put a few drops of silk serum on my ends. My hair is healthier than it ever has. I’m East Indian mixed with Dutch and my hair is very fine but wavy/frizzy. My hair regimen is so simple these days and I’ve seen results and I can’t believe it.
I can’t believe they didn’t change their formula because you used to could layer their products and it wouldn’t get white. Now when that same exact method is used hair white all around. My hair didn’t fall out from Mielle but something somewhere changed
I didn’t realize it was Mielle products making my hair fall out till i decided to revisit the babassu and mint deep conditioner. I started using it in 2020 and it made my hair so soft. I added in the moisture milk and the almond oil from there my hair started falling out and i developed dermatitis. My scalp was developing sores, bleeding and hair just falling out in chunks. It didn’t happen immediately though so i never correlated it to mielle’s products because my hair felt so soft. But i did notice my curl pattern started to loosen up like a relaxer even though I’ve never had a relaxer. Around 2022/2023 when the rosemary mint oil came out i decided to try that to help with the bald spots i had. I ended up losing the whole back of my hair. Since then I’ve only been using ouidad and curlsmith and my hair is growing back like normal. I’m sad it took me this long to realize it was the Mielle products as i went from having waist length hair to being nearly bald. And everyone keeps saying it has to be something i was doing but I’ve been doing my own hair since middle school. I’ve never had a problem maintaining length. My hair stylist even said I’m one of her view clients that maintains my hair well. Health wise I’ve always struggled with low iron which has never affected my hair growth. I started taking iron supplements just in case and no help. I even went to a dermatologist and they gave me zoryve foam and it helped until i started using Mielle products again. But all my doctors said there’s nothing health wise that’s changed to cause the hair loss i was experiencing. It had to be the hair products. Which essential oils like mint, almond, and rosemary need to be watered down alot to use regularly without causing major damage to the scalp but in Mielle products they’re highly concentrated. Also black people will never start acquiring businesses because we don’t own companies like p&g. Which we would if we would stop selling our successful companies and actually just acquire another one. Generational wealth is having a brand with history to pass down. Not selling and hoping you get successful again. Generational wealth is having a business your kids can take over.
That’s not true. I know over 20 black millionaires that have the money to acquire businesses. Most black people wont buy black businesses because of what comes with it. Look at the fire they walked into after business with her. They didn’t know what they were getting into but black people do. A black person wouldn’t buy her business because they know that black hair companies don’t last too long. One person gets upset and the brand is dead. It’s too big of a risk so they don’t take it. The first business isn’t always the one you use to build generational wealth. iPhone wasnt the first product there were other businesses that funded that one until it was big enough to fund its self. I hope everything works out for you on your hair journey. Next time test a product on a mannequin and your skin for atleast a month before you use it. Hair product for black hair are not regulated. You have to study before you buy.
@ if black businesses weren’t profitable then white peoples wouldn’t be buying them. Testing a product on a mannequin or my skin isn’t going to mimic the effects it has on my scalp lol i had a friend recommend Mielle and that friend actually works for Mielle. Which again the damage happened over the course of months. It was not an immediate huge reaction. Which is why i didn’t notice it till it was really bad.
Could it be that people have an allergic reaction to the herbs in the products? Herbs should be washed out after a couple hours kinda treat like a deep conditioning treatment. If I could be honest most of the products that are marketed specifically to black people don’t really work well for my hair. I have abandoned most black products.
I also wonder if it’s just the Rosemary line? I’ve been using the Pomegranate line and some of the Rosemary line as well. Once she start branching off to a lot of other stuff I stopped trying out. The last thing I tried was some of the rice water line and found out that rice water wasn’t good. Thank you Cyn ❤ I do wish Monique would just come out and apologize and just say “If some of my products have caused hair loss I’m sorry” straight denying it is indeed crazy. Even if she doesn’t believe that her products are causing harm. She still should apologize.
I dont think it's pomegranate . I used the pomegranate and that's what got me hype for their products. So I saw the peppermint rosemary kind and started using and notice the bad BS happening to my hair
Imma str8 hair natural and I will keep using white folk products! Ijs! With that being said I have and have used her shampoo and it was great but with that I use Olaplex, K18, and Joico PERIOD
It def did something to my scalp . I was sooo into her products when they first came out and had a subscription because that’s how good it WAS . Idk I just know my scalp was sore/and flaky after the past few years and everyone can’t be lying 😅
Listen their Rosemary oil is not pure Essential oil. It’s oils and essential oils which is okay if the dosage is correct! So yes, you can put it on your scalp. But is this broken people hair? Yeh maybe 😅
I have really thick 4c hair. My braider has been only one beside me touching my hair since summer of 2022. Recently she did my hair twice she even said my hair was thinning! I was only using mielle. The shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, oil & edge control
Nah my hair is chopped and uneven now!!!! Chunks of hair coming out in my wash day. Hell nah! She lyin' I stopped using the Rosemary line and I have to cut my hair but Im not ready!
It seems like both parties are at fault but the owner told us many I mean many things to do that was wrong the wash and gos down to putting that oil on our scalp every day they listen to her because of the way her hair looking it appeared healthy and long we was on board when we seen her in her kitchen making that shit up we didn’t know anybody and just listen to her not knowing that science behind the scalp and hair and didn’t bother doing research and if we did do research we just thought oh they’re not black so they don’t know about our hair so we proceeded with the bull so it’s everybody fake. WHEN YOU KNOW BETTER YOU DO BETTER AND THANKS TO CYN IM DOING BETTER AND MY CROWN IS TOO ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
But she should apologize for telling us to do that mess everyday that oil will burn your scalp to death putting it on everyday SMDH we always want to do sum but not go to school for it that crazy to me especially when you dealing with the human body it should be a law if your dealing with the human body meaning the scalp you should go to school PERIOD if you want to put a product out that gos on our scalp because this IS KRAZY and they are so many other people doing the same thing if you still on RUclips telling people to oil their scalp everyday you should be lockup😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 but fr
Mielle products does make ppl hair fall out because it happed to me after I used their rice milk product. It’s horrible respectfully. It’s sad that’s it’s a sister’s brand but it’s the truth.
Can’t speak for anyone else but I used the Rosemary oil and other of her products. My hair was shedding so bad I thought something was seriously wrong with my health. My scalp was also sore. I stopped using her products, which I loved and the heavy shedding and sore scalp stopped. I received no funds from anyone nor would I say this just to jump on a bandwagon. If it works for your hair, kudos to you. Some products just don’t work for some people. But it didn’t work for mine and I won’t use it again. Not worth the risk.
The rose water deep conditioner is the last thing i still use, it has ne in a choke hold lol.... but, ppl beg me to release my hair line but it has to be right, im not rushing to take ppls money... ive been working on it for years
Make sure you connect with a chemist, dermatologist and trichologist and a couple other professionals before you release a product to the industry. We already have so many,
@IamCynDoll definitely do, and this is ppl asking me lol.... like I am literally asked in public all the time.... I've had cashiers at stores ask for my phone number lol
@IamCynDoll good thing about me is that everything I use was a result of having psoriasis of the scalp and so I'm very particular about what I use in my hair and on my scalp
Cyn when I tell you that the products is bad. I used the product and had sores all through my hair. Massive shedding and scalp burning. This lady products needs to be taken off the shelves. I stopped using the products and all my issues ended immediately. No sores, no burning on the scalp and less hair shedding.

Thanks so much for sharing love. Glad you stopped.❤
@ Thank you for sharing!
Same! I had to throw all of mine away. I’ve never experienced breakage like I did with those products 😭
Wow! Which one was it? I used the Babasou and Mint deep conditioner for years.
My cousin recommended the products to me she used the pomegranate and liked it. I bought the green set and only used the shampoo and conditioner. So much of my hair came out, NEVER AGAIN will I use any more of their products.
Who TF is putting essential oils on there hair on a DAILY basis anyway! Let’s have some COMMON SENSE 🙄
Essential oils are not put in that much only a sliver. Much of it is artificial scents plus .00000001% of essential oils. It is the allergic reaction with other chemicals that are damaging the hair.
Common sense isn’t that common anymore.
Essential oils are suppose to be diluted and she’s selling it as a diluted product when it’s not.
SMH!
I’m sorry to hear that. Yeah, all of you can’t be lying.
@@IamCynDoll thank you ❤ and exactly! Got my scalp red and swollen.

I know that!
You should! 😂
LMAO
Shea Moisture?! Really? I have their Rosemary oil!!!! 😩😩😩
This is ALL about killing our hair.
Companies won't admit to wrong doing. They would then have to pay on that admittance. It's for the person making the claim to prove what they are claiming against them.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Make it plain.
Oh someone knows the word game this industry plays! Let em know. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Mielle will never take responsibility. Taking responsibility will have big financial losses for the company.
This controversy has hurt Mielle badly. People are not buying her products as much. The more she talks about this controversy, the worse things are getting. She should just leave things alone. Eventually, consumers will move on from the issue
But no .... she's trying to do damage control
It's her lowkey (high-key) calling everybody a liar for me..
It seems like Beauty in Black is loosely based off of Mielle organic 😢
Introducing. Thanks so much for watching.
Seeee! I thought it was just me thinking that!
I hope you’re back to your best now. Keep it simple! ❤
Mind you I don’t wear braids I have clip ins. so my hair definitely broke off
Wow, I’m very sorry to hear that.
There are other black natural hair care lines that sold out and didn't have this happen. I wish people would stop saying black women are trying another black woman down. We are the reason for their success and we made it a point to buy from black women for our hair.
the Creator may have been paid... It doesn't mean that the Creator was untruthful... both can be true.
Agreed.
Just bought a new bottle of the rosemary oil 2 weeks ago.
Had no issues before, but now I don't think I will be using it.
You are hilarious in this break down, but I agree it would help if the owner would stop with the gaslighting and take some accountability….btw your sign is cute!
I hope she gets there one day. Thanks for watching and love the sign too, thanks boo!❤
Oh my gosh wow😭😭😭😭
Sorry to hear that.
@@IamCynDoll thanks. Do you know why the crown breaks the most?
Hi CynDoll. Happy Holidays to you and yours. Essential Oils directly on the skin causes problem.
It's like when there was Ojon, great products, they sold and it was horrible. Same with Shea Moisture, their Bamboo line was amazing for my hair. They got rid of it. Now I'm a Nexxus/Kenra girl❤
My hair did not fall out when using the oil, but the product did make my scalp “burn” and made it sore.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Remember nothing goes on the scalp but shampoo.
Girl i have short hair. What about conditioners that say on bottle for hair/scalp? Head and shoulder has one i been using 😢😢😢😢@IamCynDoll
You got this, keep doing you!❤️ Thanks so much for hearing me and doing the research yourself.
@ I didn’t know braiding causes shedding but good to know. I do get braided sometimes. By a person who isn’t doing it right at all! But I’ve learned not to leave them in no longer than 6weeks. 2months tops.

I get her being defensive but she sounds just like them. Not listening to the consumer. If anything it’s corporate greed black or not
I was using her products when it was actually organic and it was good.
Yes! That’s why the science of the scalp is so important. ❤️
I don’t want her money; I want my appearance back. I want to stop wear caps on my head to work. I want myself back.
Cyn got better content than anything on the news or documentaries 😊
Hey friend ‼️‼️ Thank you !🙈
It's over for mielle she has taken no accountability. Only professionals grade products!
You have to use it correctly for your hair and scalp type. My scalp doesn't like oil so I'm not going to use a professional grade oil because I'm not going to use any oil at all. I use prescription, water-based products on my scalp.
I tried this line and it made my hair DRY AND BRITTLE! After one use!
Big business does this to each other alllll the time. I Always go with the majority. .
👏🏾👏🏾
Use it and you find out that fat meat is greasy😂🤣 It ruined my wig, because I always wash my wig first with new products. My good wig is still hanging in my closet a tangled mess🤦🏽♀️🫤😂😂
Not the wig. Atleast it wasn’t your hair.❤️ Poor Wiglisa! ❤️❤️🤣
What were the people using before Mielle? I wonder do they use a new product that's advertised for hair every time it gets traction. 🤔
Right, there’s trying new things. And then there’s just 🐑
Yup...meanwhile I've been using the same Creme of nature shampoo for the last 15 years. Lol! it isn't broke so what am I fixing?
Wish they would use damage control in their products.😳
Thanks so much for watching & sharing!❤️
A bunch of my hair broke off if I knew how to file a lawsuit I would.
Speak Cyn!!! The race baiting is real. I love your set up btw😍
I’m so glad you can see it! Thanks gurl🙈❤️❤️❤️‼️
She should have kept that to herself and stayed silent. Who were the competitors? Lol she is a horrible liar
Chile it took 2.5 months to grow back a bald spot after using mielle rosemary oil and deep conditioner so after my own results she needs to just take accountability for the damage your products caused 🤬😤
Im glad you handled it.
The world will never know.❤️
Since the company has been bought and sold, she could have gotten paid to deny any damages or responsibility.

And then I bet the essential oils more then likely not grade a sourced in her product.
I used Mielle when the rosemary collection first dropped. That oil had my scalp on FIRE! never again!!! I stick with what i know, which are professional products. If it isn't professional, I'm sorry, not sorry, but it's not touching my hair or scalp!
Thanks for watching & sharing love!❤️ Your comments are so valid!
At least DevaCurl took accountability
They sure did!👏🏾👏🏾
Hispanic is NOT a race 🤦🏽♀️ it’s an ethnicity. Michelle Rodriguez the creator of Mielle is Hispanic of African descent.
So yeahhhhhhh
This comment are not to those who take care of their hair. 😅
Not the eggs. That’s what I’m trying to say though. You’ve been following RUclipsrs. You’ve been a fruit salad for months. They can’t put it all on her.🤣
No seriously. Some people like to modify the formula with food 😅
It’s so sad.

Wow, that’s really unfortunate. I’m glad you helped her figure it out. What product did she use to repair?❤️
I purchased the Pomegranate Honey Twist Souffle and that ish does not do what they claim. It didn't break my daughters hair out, but it is not meant for black folks hair. I ended up throwing the whole jar away.
Wow sorry to hear that.

She probably still does not know that essential oils do not go on the scalp. Will u reach out to Mielle and share the info w/her. 🥰🥰

My hair ain’t never fall out I’ve been using them for years and still is
for the clip of the hairdresser that said it used to work great for her clients hair, then shedded and now only uses K18, I'm wondering is it just a grace period where it seems to be harmless and symptoms are showing until the hair starts falling out.

Can we call it for what is…it was then she realized she f up.
I love that you’re finally seeing the light. Thank so much for sharing your accountability I appreciate you!
Yup I truly believe someone was paid by a competitor to lie on social media and it caused a ripple effect.
Interesting? So all the women in these comments are lying? Just a question.
I can’t believe they didn’t change their formula because you used to could layer their products and it wouldn’t get white. Now when that same exact method is used hair white all around. My hair didn’t fall out from Mielle but something somewhere changed
That doesn’t mean the formula changed it means your scalp and hairshaft is finally starting to break down. Nothing goes on the scalp but shampoo.
I used the drops and it gave me micro scabs at the top of my scalp. I'm intuned with my hair/scalp and STOPPED USING it IMMEDIATEL. 😮
I hope everyone who used this dusty product sues especially if their hair fell out I’d be devastated
Not dusting.😫
Thanks for watching love.
Love I’m not going back n forth with you believe what you want. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for sharing.
Her pomegranate leave-in works great for me. I still have a bottle that will take me a while to get through.
That stuff took my hair out and damaged my bad. Facts
I’m so happy you’ve taken your focus back to the science. Keep it simple love. Hopefully accountability is the energy in 2025.
Not how it works.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I’m sorry to hear that happened.
Come thru Cyn! I appreciate the upload!
Thanks so much for watching I truly appreciate you.
I’m glad you are better. ❤️ So sorry to hear that.
