I remember hitting the roof the first time I heard this beat. Underground GOAT. Lots of love to anyone still bumping this in 23.
This album is so much better than the first JMT album
Not just cause Jus Allah fuckin slaughters it with every verse
But Vinnie on the first album doesn't really make cohesive verses -- he's just shouting out as many esoteric conspiracy theories and spiritual phrases that he can, with very little cohesion with what he's saying. It's basically word salad 2 a sick flow n beat.
But on this album Vinnie stops doing that all the time, and starts to form cohesive verses with what he's saying. Even with it still centered around the same themes as the first album, he's no longer just making long ass lists of esoteric references.
@@danielgray65 w take their 1st album isn't even on Streaming services
Some of Vinnie's solo work can be word salad about conspiracys too
I’m still rocking this album
Still Alive and got it full Blast pissing my neighbours 🥃💩🥃🤣👍🏻💪🔥🥃
@@3astardo26 Everyone should come round with speakers and nod their head 😂
i am 30 and been listening to this song since 14. So much memories of my teen age.
Came here to say exactly this
same
Came here to say I'm 40 and watched them come up to only see jusallah and vinny not be able to out differences aside like kobe and shaq.
I'm from Australia not very well known here but most underground wasn't imortal tequnique, non phixion, demigodsz
I love all you brothers no matter race or country of origin . This music is simply amazing and I’m glad that people from org countries enjoy it. You’re my brothers forever
This album is a masterpiece
Top-10-All-Time-Hip-Hop
Non-Phixion aint so bad to
Visions of Ghandi and Legacy of Blood are far better than this album
And forever will be. At the time it was like a stone thrown into a average hip-hop phase.
Yes but my personal favorite is servants
I came back to this album in 2020. This quarantine is really giving me that time to revisit the classics.
"Normalization" is coming. Not the normal we knew. The soviet definition.
Please check out Yuri Bezmenoz interview He is a KGB defector What he speaks of is our current plan in US
Played this for my nephew hes an aspiring mumble rapper or whatever. .... when jus allah & paz did the back & forth at the end he lost his shit. Think we might have converted one. Peace to JMT AOTP
Me too brother.
Amen to that fam
this beat is literally haunting, hard as shit
Them violins haha
ever heard the original, where the sample is from? instantly recognizable
Depuis quand la merde est dur?
@@marlenedegletagne9699 C'est juste de l'argot mec, la chanson est bonne !
I'm 38 and can say i lived in the best time of everything that changed the game from music to clothes sports etc. What a time. I watched wu first time with odb last appearance live in SB. 🙏 Real hip hop⚡⚡⚡
Word.
Yup. Glory days for real. The albums, chasing concet tix and mixtapes at record stores, small club performances
True that.
Sb as is Santa Barbara? Or another city?
@@angelmoreno5058 San Bernardino first rock the bells with Wu and ODB
"Flows got the breeze on my clothes got the scent of trees, I lay back an blow sax like Kenny G"
This is incredible.
+joey meli When vinnie and allah are bouncing the rhymes off each other, that was godly
+joey meli its actually "flows got degrees, all my clothes got the scent of tress..."
can you not see the other replies? its already been said you fucking moron
@@TiffCat its actually "flows DROP degrees" but the rest is right. i know this was said years ago but its bugging me cause flows drop degrees is a much better line. its like his raps are so cold they drop the temperature
your mother was also incredible.
we were bumping this back in high school here in West Australia circa 2002 til infinity...this album was one of them classics and set off a movement!
This was the first track I heard from Jedi Mind back in the day. I straight up thought it was a new Wu Tang affiliate. They just gave off that same vibe to me personally. One of the most underrated hip hop albums of all time.
That beat is too sick!
They sampled Yo-Yo Ma one of best classical composer and violinist
cuz Stoupe is a fucking genius
Say that again g
Flows got degrees, all my clothes got the scent of trees, I lay back and blow sax like Kenny Gs.....Dope ass punchline🔥🔥🔥
Jus Alla is a machine
Shits insane
Pause
Clears my mind evrytime.. one of their greatest classics
Used to rock this album while working In the stock room of Reebok. The days..
something about a jazz/classical sample with a hard ass drum and bassline is all you need. im from the bay but I always loved the east coast vibe. just goes so hard
i think this is the best song of the history
Broke into the Vatican and strangled the pope with his rosary!
One of the sickest lines holy fuck.
it isn't just fuck, but holy fuck
yes'm
I like anal rape
Paul Sack Wtf???
Paul Sack who doesnt
"Yo, the gods are rhymin', they dramatizin'
You feel the poetic blow of the titans
We like a fuckin' bolt of lightnin'
The three wise men
We at levels that defies men
Watch out for fake heads deviled disguised men
Arriving from the dawn and spawned with ill forms
That'll leave you layin dead in the womb like stillborns
The master herein
The ominous, the master spirit
Can't understand the language of rappers with bad lyrics"
Everything that i could say, would fade into insignificance, compared to what my heart feels, and your heart feels at this moment.
+Kind Squire main message of the song maybe... most people skip right through it.
What is the source of that audio clip?
giving me goosebumps, great track
why goosebumps?
I have so many great memories when I listen to this album. The good old days.
I'll put Stoupe right next to Havoc and RZA.
Their delivery on this album is perfect. One of the few albums where I can honestly say I enjoy every song.
Respect from Greece. Best album ever
R.I.P. MAIK LASSNER ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ITS A FRIEND AND HE SHOW ME THIS ALBUM FOR 20 JEARS❤ I MISS HIM ❤❤❤

Listened to this and uncommon valor, before every varsity football game (all four years) I ever played.
Right outside linebacker in a 3-4. Permanent "joker" stunt. ( go into the backfield and don't let the quarterback get outside of you).
Won't mean much to you, but it got me in a "warrior's" state of mind.
All state my senior year. Thank you, Vinnie Paz.
hamburger hill vietnam the album cover 😎
Same thing but me as a defensive end on a 4-3 line bahahah

That album cover tho, its almost like you can feel the living hell that dude is going through. fuck war. too many people being mislead into serving in this day and age and thinking they're making a difference.
The Abstract I actually met Both JMT and their manager Jan (pronounced "Yahn") many years ago and brought the album cover up to them! If I recall correctly it was Jan who told me they got the image from the Vietnam movie "Hamburger Hill". Amazing film as well
But war is fun.
sometimes, just sometimes they do make a difference :|

@gilette bayonet I always wondered about this album cover image!
