Hey coach, I am really interested in staying a home care agency in NC. My concern is that the medicaid reimbursement seem really low and it almost seems impossible to make a profit. Are there other services that can be billed for that could increase revenues other than PErsonal Care Services and Respite care?

Thank you I was in tears crying watching this , because I eat ,sleep , breath wanting to starting my non-medical homecare business. I been in healthcare since h.s vocational H.s I became a CNA working in nursing homes, home Are, private care etc. later went to behavioral health left there ... now I’ve been in Health Care insurance Aetna n been ready for this listening to all the members need for this business n the fact I’ve made a difference over the years , I’ve been researching n have a business plan n name n did some leg work already , a location my grandma basement n I’m ready n doing exactly what I need now n going forward n to know its ppl out here like that give this inspirational advice motivates me even more because this can be scary ,Thank you #IWontGiveUp

Is this accurate? Am I getting the right info from the state? I'm driven to do this but I don't have the experience the state requires. After many years of working in corporate and owning businesses simply for money, I decided to do what would make me happy. So I became a CNA again in 2010 to learn more about the industry. I am an entrepreneur so I knew working for someone would never work :) So I began my journey of researching the non medical home care industry and here I am a few years later:)
