So I started watching this to get a feel for the rules of volleyball because I'm doing a writing project wherein the main player is a college volleyball player, but honestly, for fifteen minutes, I just watched and forgot I was even doing research for that. I did not know volleyball could be this intense but honestly I'm kind of loving it. I thought basketball was intense but this is pretty crazy.
It will only get crazier just keep watching like you not the biggest volleyball fan but 5th sets In The NCAA Tournament are great
And this 5th set is 🗑️ compared to most watch Wisconsin vs Nebraska 5th set this year or in the championship 2021

This was a great match, and Pitt adjusted after louisvilles different offensive attack in the first two sets . But the rest of this comment will take another tact, As an old goat that remembers far back, What a pleasure to listen to Paul Sunderland announce the game, Actually, knowing volleyball and what the heck he’s talking about, Unlike the total tool, Who is announcing the Wisconsin game, He knows literally very little volleyball, and all he can say is “ Tool the block” Or “ Terminates”
And clearly has some weird affection for Anna Smrek.
Yes and also one of the announcers for NEB-ARK was totally Nebraska driven 😒🌽🙄
As another old goat, I remember him and Chris Marlow calling AVP matches on Prime Ticket. Those were the good old days.
Wisconsin announcer was terrible against Oregon made me wanna slap em

i just recently met Olivia Babcock and her team because i live near tampa and some club teams were invited to welcome them. She was so nice im such a big fan. I got a picture witj her and all best moment of my life. GOOO PITT PANTHERS!!!!💗
Arkansas was my squad in this RAD tournament. I have Pitt toppling Nebraska, they should just win this whole damn thing. 'Merica needs a new champion, not the same old chalk 🐾
Even if Pitt beats Nebraska, this team is NOWHERE NEAR being able to beat Wisconsin.
Poor Elena Scott...the second time in two 5th set matches against Pitt where she ate one.

Just like last year! They aren’t closers
This is like the 3rd time Louisville got reverse swept
No choke, Pitt ramped it up the last three games and won it.
65 - 42 in those 3 games

This wasn’t a case of Louisville giving it away, it was Pitt taking it away.

Doubtful, pitt hasn't played a team like neb all season. Neb has lost 1 set this whole tourney.

Husker here - Of all the teams I wouldn't mind losing to it's PItt. They play as a team better than almost anyone despite not being stacked with the biggest or best athletes.. Look at Stanford - all that talent and they play so uninspired and without emotion. Good luck!
@@thepokemonpowerhouse5562 the way Arkansas took the first set off them this tournament and have been a team that’s been getting overlooked on the selection they contained them very well! I think it would have been a different story if Nebraska wasn’t at home! Arkansas silenced them that first game and I think if they was a more seasoned team they wouldn’t b have lost so I know Pitt who’s hungry is gonna be at battle for them!
@@dbmac76 Stanford is really a one man show! They aren’t consistent Baird or Ross is spotty so I knew they was going down

The ball hit the antenna, so ball is out of play. Look at the line judge on Pitt's side at 5:05. When they wave the flag and point, it means the ball hit the antenna.

Elite 8 is a good result for this season Lou roster.
Next season will be worse.
Even worse then in November game.
Debeer and Scott was not on fire and as result even no fight in last 3 sets. Other players can't did anything.
Again a lot own errors. Again system problem - a few games Lou lost indentically : won 2 sets and after lost 3 sets.
Scott was great. Luper and Debeer were terrible.
@@Blickblickyyyblick74, 10 digs is not great for Elena. Her level is 20+ digs, or at least >10.
Luper is always terrbile )
I dont't know what happend with Scott and Debeer. Probably they just tired to tug this team.
@@adiutorru9442 I know what happened to Scott, Pitt barely hit at her, went line hitting over Glock most of the night. Or tooled Louisville’s terrible blocking.
Debeer has been mid all season, ACC player the year should’ve went to Scott not her.
