      She’s 34 years old. Do you truly believe she’s never heard this or has no idea about the movie 8 mile? Give me a break. Was she one of the Cincinnati girls that was locked up for 20 years in a basement? That would be the only plausible explanation. Well that, and pretending.

      @@frankiek2269 She's 34 years old. Do you truly believe that she was allowed to watch this R-RATED MOVIE when she was 14 years old? After she turned 18, she could have had more important things on her mind than a movie that was a handful of years old by then, don't you think? There are far more possibilities that your stupid-ass narrow-minded view allows for.
      You give me a break. Shut up and quit putting other people into your dumb boxes. Just because you had the opportunity to see this in your reality, does not mean that EVERY HUMAN ON EARTH MUST HAVE SEEN IT.
      I admit, She COULD be pretending. But I refuse to be SO Wrong-Or-Right about it. There are more than two answers as to why she has not seen the movie. Maybe, just MAYBE, SHIT HAPPENS that is not in your control or hers.
      Currently there are 8 BILLION possibilities on Earth. You would have trouble keeping track of just 1,000 of them. So does it REALLY MATTER? If the fact that she does not know this movie affects your life somehow, then you have WAY BIGGER problems that you need to deal with before being a toxic ass over Social media. Good lord.
      All you had to do was click off the video if you didn't like it. But, OH, NO, NOT YOU. There must be HELL TO PAY BECAUSE YOU CANNOT BE HAPPY UNTIL SOMEBODY ELSE IS MISERABLE. GTFO.

    From the movie "8 Mile", this was a biopic of Eminem's life. Came out in 2002. Mekhi Phifer is in a wig!

    • @jeremygilbert7989
      @jeremygilbert7989 Год назад +5

      Not actually a biopic. 8 Mile was heavily influenced by many of Eminem's own life experiences but the story is fictional. According to Eminem himself in an interview with The Rolling Stone magazine “I don’t play me in the movie. There are similarities because I sat down with Scott Silver, the scriptwriter, and told him instances from my life that were used in the movie, some exactly the way they happened, some a little bit different. I play a guy named Jimmy who grows up in Detroit and tries to make it as a rapper,”

Very great artist in his flow and delivery. Empathize I do with him, and listening to this song gives me some hope that I will continue with him on being sober. Stumbled across your channel, and your reactions are very visceral and genuine. Keep on trucking forward, my lady. You are exploring in really great places with your concoction of eclectic choices in all music out there.
    P.S. Check out some Rush songs in the near future. One of my favorites is "Mission" and "Red Sector A." Oh, and "Limelight." Also, "Subdivisions." Just to name a few. Okay, I be done. Ha. Cheers to you. 🙂

And of course some scenes are not a literal interpretation of the song’s lyrics, but an adaptation taking parts of the movie that can fit the lyrics in some way.

    Everyone focus on the top of the line not the whole line "DO not miss your chance to blow " because he is saying it does not matter about the outcome , its about knowing you left it all out there, in sports and in the army they used to always say leave it all out on the field . It is not about winning , it is about stepping up to the moment. We get scared about failure, and he is not even saying you will succeed, he did, but what you got to do is just leave it all out there and be the guy laughed at on stage not the one who was too afraid to go up. You can not imagine it if you are "normal" I personally have extreme performance anxiety, I can do so much without trying until as soon as some one says this is for a grade, I am watching you, impress me, and I seize up, and I have walked out of formations in the Army, have walked out of interviews just so angry I could punch a wall because I freeze up in just normal situations to other people. This song gets me through with out medication believe it or not, I just say it to my self just go in and let them boo and laugh at it and no matter how many laugh and boo and make you feel like shit go back the next night and ask for more. When I worked abroad as an elementary teacher, I made kids put them in nervous situations , not creating or pushing them , but by letting them no its ok to fail , its not about the fail or the hate , its about being the one who tried. Life is not about success ,its about being the one who tried.

    This is not the real music video, it's fanmade from the movie 8 Mile. There is a real music video, but you have to search for the explicit version to get it in proper quality.

    Dam i refuse to beleive people born around my year (1994) don't know this song, my sister born in 1988 would have this playing on MTV every weekend and i knew every Eminem song OFF BY HEART because of her influence. Em grew into a great father, adopting his 2 step children and the photos at Haileys wedding made me cry. God bless Emeniem.

    The music video and the song are purposefully made together. He used his version of a documentary to represent the music video of hits lyrics for this song. I'm so jealous of you.
