Honestly depends on what type of gaming you plan to do and the experience you’re looking for. Certain games require different GPU horsepower. Also the resolution you plan to play at plays a role as well. And last but not least your expectations play a role as well.

Pretty sure when you use the #1 m.2 nvme slot it cuts the gpu performance in half, giving you only x8 instead of x16. You should look into it
