- In this video, I collect carob pods (Ceratonia siliqua) to make carob syrup. Carobs were the staple food that helped many people survive under adverse conditions during the German occupation of Greece in ww2. A food of great nutritional value but as evidenced by recent research and of great therapeutic value too.
