Love❤ Valentino Couture and Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli … the silhouettes, the drape and fluid movement of the beautiful fabrics…the colors, the prints and the gorgeous location, the Palace of Versailles. Be even more fabulous of a show if models were able to be casually barefoot and walk more comfortably and if all accessories were removed, the fashion designs are the stars, the rest is just a distraction…. Beauty Forever.❤
Everything about this runway was majestic. Those shoe might have seem like a good idea but like most flats they have to fit your foot perfectly so there some grip (I notice that shoe size is not priority for models, they have to deal with it) and you can actually bend your foot properly and some models not have to scoot their feet along the runway trying to keep the gowns from pulling them off also and the oversize bow did not help. I do see some have heel straps. I really like that trend of the behind the scene people for the fashion we are seeing get some time out on the runway. Where is this place Valentino is showing at? It just so beautiful! One thing I really disliked are the glasses, they are ugly as bleep!

Kaia's opening was spectacular! The seem to have difficulties to walk in those shoes. Todays "models" aren't the best walkers these days ...and the shoes didn't help. They could have easily taped the shoes at the back to the feet but no one either rehearsed or dared to say something (or cared)! Even though I love the idea of wearing flat shoes (and it reappeared at Giambattista Valli) and the idea of creating a signature shoe (IT-shoe), I must say the big bows sometimes did clash with the outfits. The colors, florals and the bold embellishments are everything. But I missed some classic tailored jackets to complete the collection. If only I was a rich woman...

-Beautiful setting, beautiful clothes, gorgeous models but.... that is a far piece to walk in flat shoes on concrete. The shoes look as if they have no kind of padding inside or nothing on the soles to help grip the walkway. I applaud the models for pulling it off with elan and grace. I would have fallen or tripped in those shoes. Maybe that's why I'm not a model .......😊😊

Why such a long runway? Camera too far away to actually see the clothes. These extravagant shows are not very well thought out. Music doesn’t work either. Oh well there’s always next year!!!
Valentino is passe as a fashion icon. Are they wearing bedroom slippers? The designs are horrible. And Pierpaolo Piccioli actually congratulates himself. Laughable.

this is the Palace at Versailles. Its very old and very beautiful, you can Google its incredible history 😊

And the models have to literally walk a mile in those shoes! They must come out to the top of the runway and say, "OMG!, I might not make it!"
