Hi Angie, just shared this vlogs with my USTHS78 group. I am based here on Los Angeles taking care of my mom. I would like to know how our kababayans who are based outside the country like me can help.
This is inspiring but I guess our government should start talking about long term solutions on plastic waste and also some people who never learn how to keep their small trash and put it in a garbage bins. I seriously scold people when I catch them throwing stuff on the streets even I don't know them 😂 and when I catch kids I always tell them to pick it up again and throw it in the proper place.
Well I’m from Canada and yes these big corporations have to make a change and us sending plastic to the Philippines is disgusting on our government so keep pushing on and hopefully something will be done🇨🇦👍
salute to all na nagkawang gawa,,,awareness for plastic use.Proper disposal,,nakakasira talaga sa kalikasan.God bless sainyo lahat.Antonette Taus thank you too. Filipinos disiplina talaga dapat umiiral at pairalin.
Serious teaching and education about plastics and proper disposable of garbage for ALL ..., children and adults I’d say, continuous teaching and reminding so it would hopefully become part of everyone’s daily living
Thank you for your environmental service. Hope you inspire many pinoys there to do the same. I believe that the main cause of that is the garbage on the streets and markets. They need to be collected in receptacles or big containers not on the streets. When it rains all the garbage not collected on the streets goes in the drains, to the esteros, to rivers, then the oceans. If the collection system is not changed, the issue will not change. Your advocacy on this change will generate better results and big potentials.
Yes yes! Say no to single-use plastic as much as possible. Leg is eliminate and reduce the use of plastic products to lessen its effect and damage to our environment. Let us advocate for change and protection our nature. So happy seeing Ms. Angie and the volunteers in this kind of advocacy and empowerment! Thank you for taking into action and raising awareness. We too can raise awareness in our own ways. Let’s all be a catalyst of change! ❤️❤️❤️ let us save the world 🌎
ang sipag nyo po talaga.kahit saan hands on kayo palagi.keep it up maam..sa tagal kong nanonood ng mga vlog nyo po.ngayon ko lang napansin kamukha nyo si SUPERCAR BLONDIE..
I agree with what u said that we need the help of big corporations in addressing solid waste and the problem on plastic use. Other countries cud make businesses follow their laws. I think it's time for our lawmakers to have that political will to take climate action in the long term. As citizens though, let's do our part. Im sure "how to throw your garbage properly" is being taught in schools. If only we can apply what we learned outside of the four corners of the classroom and start forming a habit, our small actions will definitely yield big results and have a huge impact.
Salute to you Ms. Angie, sa organizer at sa lahat ng volunteers. Bihira lang ang mayayaman makikita tumutulong sa clean up. Kaya saludo ako sa inyo. Watching & New subscriber from Fernie, BC. Spotted Finnsnow & Sherlyn
Thank u for sharing this video. I salute u ms angie and ms antonette nakaka proud po kayo nakita ko ang pagmamahal nyo sa kalikasan. Ur both an inspiration to us
Ur very supportive Angie King salute to u👍👏👌❤️ done sharing to all my relatives 💪 discipline is very important to all of us. Save the world and our Mother Earth 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
This video is really an eye opener for me. The effort to clean this part of the coastal area is massive but still has a very little impact because we can clean and spread awareness all we want but the problem is that we pick around a hundred sacks a day but on the other coastal areas across manila bay people are throwing around 300 or a thousand sacks a day. This is the real problem, we are cleaning the other side but the people on the other side of the bay keeps on throwing boat loads of trash. I really do admire celebrities like you and Antoinette because you guys are using your voice to spread this kind of advocacy. More power Angie!
Let's do it Angie... I think I'm going to do the same.. Organizing. From barangays.. Schools, companies, other organizations.. So many organizations we can reach bikers, zumba people for instance. This is very goo
Another thing to appreciate from you Ms. Angie is your desire to help with a dedication to do what is good specially for this campaign it needs to dissiminate to everybody that the environment is full of hazardous waste that could affect us humans pls help in one way or another guys here in our city using of plastic bags are prohibited with city ordinance but some big establisments are the ones breaking the law, i personally have my eco bag whether your in the market or malls here is okay. Hope that our coastal areas will soon be free with pollution if other countries can do it why we couldnt...hoping again that someday well have a clean and safe environment kudos also to ms. Antonette taus such a beautiful soul..❤❤❤❤😍😍😍
I saw from the post of Planet Cora on IG earlier, you are really there Miss Angie.. i Salute all of you guys. Microplastics are the worst damaging problem both in land and our water areas. Been doing #notoplastic kind of life to be part of saving our Mother Nature. Simple gesture will greatly affect our Planet. It needs to be save for our future. Thank you, you guys are all good stewards and May Almighty keep you safe always. 🌏
Kahit busy ang life mo still willing ka lumusong sa maamoy na lugar. Lagi ko kasing nadadaanan at during our medical mission. Ngayon ko lang nakita na sobrang dumi na talaga ang coastal area natin. Salamat sa iyong vlog marami ang nakakakita at maging bukas ang pag iisip.
The families specially the kids living in the area should be educated on the disadvantages of littering and urge them to join the cleanup. Thanks Angie ❤
I just saw you on finnsnow's vlog..youre such a good person..despite of busy sched you really make time for this kind of event..not only today's generation will benifit but the future generations.i hope you inspire more people and participate on that advocacy.
your vlog content is so natural nothing to change, stay the same, provide content that gives viewers something that they can learn from. more power and keep vlogging 😎
Ms. Angie, I personally appreciate the contents of your channel. Tackling environmental issues is something truly imperative nowadays. Keep up the impressive work, and continue to be an inspiration to many. Salamat! Regards from 🇨🇦!
Great vlog Angie. You are on the right track with going to big business and big companies. I am from Canada and have visited the Philippines 3 times now and plan to move there when I retire. The biggest problem I see is no trash cans anywhere on the street and even in malls there is very few trash cans. Here there is divided trash bins so the is a part for trash and a part for recyclable items such as paper and plastic. You not only need to talk to the big companies but also the government. Cleaning up is a good start but prevention is even better. Not only would trash and recycle bins help keep the streets and waters clean but would also provide jobs for people that would have to empty the bins and take the trash to be disposed of and the recyclables to be recycled. Here even the garbage trucks are equipped to keep trash and recyclable separate. Much could be learned by checking online how it is done in Canada and other countries. The city I live in was the first in Canada to introduce recycle bins. Is it perfect, no there are still people who throw trash on the street and out of car windows but a majority of it goes to where it is suppose to go. People just need to be educated and government big corporations need to help.
Thank you to everyone who donated their time and efforts to help Mother Nature breathe. I think for long term solution, if I may suggest, would be education. By educating the community, the clean up efforts wont be in vain. If only people in the community learns what it means to recycle and clean up their own trash then it will be a part of the solution. Also, to those who volunteered for the trash clean up... pls pls protect yourselves by wearing face mask, hand gloves and make sure to pick it up with a thong or something to avoid getting sick or catching bacteria/germs. Safety first!!! Take care guys. I will volunteer next time Im on vacay from LA 🙋♀️❤
Thank you angie for showing us the problem on that area. I hope everything will be okay. Clean coastal i hope so. And pls educate people living on that area how to clean. Thank you for inspiring us angie. God bless you. A big respect for you and to miss antonete.
Thank you for being a good Influence to everyone. .i will share this video of yours in my fb account its the least that i can do since im working out of the country God bless us all
Amazing work! Spot on re corrective rather preventive. I’d love to volunteer too. Sometimes I just had to delve deep into “events” just to see this kind of activity. Awareness and visibility will help to let more people know and easily volunteer.
Great job Angie and the rest of the volunteers. My salute to all of you ❤️❤️❤️❤️ you’re inspiring us to do the same. 😍 even do you’re busy, you made time and effort doing what your heart whispers. I’d love to be a part of a clean up drive. Soon I’ll make it happen.
Hope there is also IEC for the nearby communities to sustain the cleanliness 😊 we’ll be having our clean up as well for our adopted estero in makati. 👏
Its sad mam Angie but atleast now more and more people are aware because of social media / people like you. I just hope may preventive drive din educate people around the area.
Hi Angie, last Sat our department participated in the Manila Bay Clean-up, it's devastating how much trash there is, I agree with the microplastics, too many food wrappers and bottlecaps. I'd do it again if there's a chance. Hopefully I can volunteer in Planet Cora as well. Kudos for saving the world.
You really inspire me to do good things to our environment. I am hoping I could join you someday. I'm praying that you'll always stay healthy so you could continue doing good things. Stay humble.
As you know we have a similar problem on this side of the world. Thank you for offering your support to the effort to turn this plastics issue around. Still, it's an uphill battle.
I am all for the environment clean up and all. What I would recommend though is getting the local government as well as locals and fisher men involved as well. It is very sad that it takes people like you Angie who are not even from there but help out with the clean up? Responsibility should be placed on the shoulders of people who actually directly benefit from the bounty of the ocean. Education is very important. Kids need to be educated at a young age that human waste is not good for the environment. They could even teach their parents to look after Mother Nature.
Unfortunately some people eat that tahong..im from las piñas i know one of my neighbor go to coastal to take tahong from there then sell it to our baranggay so yeah they eat that tahong thats why more people get sick they dont know where theire food came from.. sad...anyway im not eating tahong beacause of my religion..but im thankful because of my religion i am healthy 😊 7th day adventist..anyone..hi 🖐 thank you to all volunter for cleaning up our sea..God bless us all... dont throw garbage anywhere throw it in the right place in garbage bin..pls lets all help our mother earth to be clean lets us start in ourselves thank you..😊😘 Edit: maam thank you for sharing this video..may God bless you more and your family ❤

Hi Angie hope I can join to your next plan environmental awareness I'm willing to clean up the mess... And thanks to Antonette.... Good job.... Tc always...
It is a noble cause what you are doing. I’ve done it a couple of times. Tiring but rewarding at the same time. But what I would like to emphasize on my students is we need to change the mindset of people on why we should not through our trash anywhere. We have met a lot of laughs from people who leave near and are on on the beach...bakit daw kumukuha kami nga basura. We need to empower these people by teaching them how to convert trash to cash. As the old Chinese proverb taught us, “If you give man fish, he eats for a day. If you teach him how to fish, he eats for a lifetime.” Let us make these people our partners. Our guardians of the sea and seashore. Noble may it be when we do it say...once a year but if there is truly monitoring and implementing of laws rather than having to see our lawmakers be involved in all aspects of current news..in aid of legislation daw...we can go a long way. Change if evident. Change is always constant. In order for us to achieve it...we must all be willing to work at it. I applaud that you did this and I hope more and more people do this..
Thank you for bringing awareness and helping with the clean-up. I'm so happy to see this type of initiative. I wish I can be there to help with the effort.
