Many Asian countries have vehicles similar. I have lived and worked in Cambodia for the past 18 years. Vehicles like those shown here are manufactured locally. Some are quite sophisticated!
people are happy with the little that they have unlike some rich people that have all the modern things and are not happy .. goes to show that being humble and contented is all that we need in this short life .
The power source is a “water pump” engine attached to home made carrier that transport people and products which is a common sight also in the rural areas of the Philippines 🇵🇭..!! They call it KULIGLIG.!! and very useful..!!
None of these are antique cars. They are all modern day farmers vehicles, tractors and iron buffaloes modified into whatever. Common sights in rural Thailand, Burma, Cambodia. Innovation at the survival level. Brilliant!
Great ! I would like to see this village in 2019. I am sure they have progressed. At 3:10 the moto-taxis are lined off.......common in many 3rd world countries.
These type of vehicles are operating in India for the last more than 40 years, these vehicles operates in villages, to carry passangers and for goods transportation purpose.
PHOTOCOPIES of TIMES ... i have seen enough videos like this , like a book the chapter one or the existence of a particular place the muddy road the market and the characters until the final chapter in relative to growth of the nations and increasing populations, seems there are semblance of similarities ... i observe just like this i have seen it ... kalesa horse driven cart with gasera in both sides ngayon nga wala na and the uncemented road and the mode of transpiration is kareta now with modern technology to cope with time they put engine on it
And those things go over terrain that would ground a UK car. 3 people in front and 10 in the back too, you'd need a PSV license here. So you see, it is possible to live without all the rules and regs.
I like these tractors they are very useful for transportation ,and working great on fields.

Good video, but these aren't antique cars. Most of these are tillers (walking tractors) which are able to attach either farming implements or wagons.

These cars are not antique, they are very modern locally built cars running on a Chinese multi-purpose engine.

Anthony Parker, But in most instances. You trade less regulations & rules, for poorer countries & a lot more people.

Yeah but look at the people....that is not living...it is dying slowly from either diphtheria, flu, parasites,or starvation.
Use what you got, make do, innovate, getter done.
This is why my city Kathmandu is still beautiful coz we are not allowe to modify the any moter
Is that supposed a good thing?
The first one was a tractor with the take-off cobbled to a drive shaft and axle.
Nice one but not safe though, imagine if that belt can come off while a passenger is sitting ib front seat there.

Misleads title, no antique cars at all in this video, adapted farm tractors (modern) not antique at all!
