Asmr has gotten very watered down lately. I’ve been watching since before asmr was even the term for it, and it was all “guided meditation, and hypnosis” it’s evolved a lot.
@@EYEcon8_ I understand what you mean, but now anyone with a camera and a block of foam gets to call themselves an asmrtist. Before it was mainstream, it was more about the intention than the sounds you were creating. Now, every popular artist will just upload whatever else is trending that week. Notice how within a few days 25 plus channels have all uploaded a "follow my instructions with your eyes closed" videos? And now rather than creating content for the love of ASMR and relaxation.. its a chash grab. watered down by people who dont even listen to it to begin with. no gatekeeping, just an observation

Been here since 2019 and I love the fact of you not dropping the real “whispering” as other ASMRtists that simply start soft spoken and no effort.
