Those are the best moments right? Zoning out out of pure admiration/bliss for what you're hearing. Like with old gems you haven't heard in ages that slam back into existence in your memory once you come across them once again.

yeh ... that hard trance vibe completly forgotten nowadays that i miss so much .... that was the perfect combo.
I like modern hardstyle but lets put a bit of euphoric calm and chill sometimes in it. I'm overdosed by Raw

@@Drum690 To be fair, SZP are trying to bring certain real rave sounds back to the scene. Their adiagio for strings remix is pure 2000, and they made a good (yet unreleased) remix of Sutra, and one of their rave into space tracks have kicks that are quite gabber like. If only they would learn how to mix and construct a proper set.
The First Rebirth brings back so many memories, love that song!

That weird (and precious moment) when a rave set from a hardstyle dediqated promoter put a hard trance classic like "Jones & Stephenson - First Rebirth" and you know that there's still hope and see people jumping like hell :)
You know that the Jones in Jones&Stephenson is Frankie Jones? So he's an early rave dj who plays his own early rave track in a set about early rave

Dediqated was a masterpiece!
it was the last Q-Dance event before they lost all the good guys during Covid.
Just have a look at Power Hour 2023 and Qlimax 2023 - you will recognize the difference to pre-Covid events.
Good to see Gizmo and The Darkraver again. I remember picking up Gizmo in The Hague in my Ford Fiesta with a custom cd player, amplifier and speakers. I drove him to Zoetermeer to FreshFM, where he had to play a set, and with every bump on the road the disc skipped some second forward, I was so embarrassed XD.
Pretty sure you remember Gizmo's Birthday Party at Locomotion too in that case ;)

Omg the last track! I can remember to that. Back to the 90s wow. Me, my brother and our friend listened these tracks. That's why I love hardstyle, hardbass, rawstyle and ofc hardcore too at the present time. ^^

For huge and perfectly coordinated events like this they have to, to put the lightshow, fireworks, everything on point with the music. This is not a dance event, it's a show
Ever watched darkraver & buzz fuzz mixing?.. they're some of the best. It's true what the guy above says, the light show & everything is all matched with the music. You just couldn't mix to that..it's an amazing show nonetheless.
