You are a staple in my every day life... once I get home from work and I've settled down there is now a Christine time scheduled to watch your daily video. ❤ I don't know about the other viewers but I enjoy watching you take your time and the process to create the finished card. Simply love it.❤
I love it when that "I could use this for something" item actually proves useful whether for crafting or something else. It's amazing how great one die cut and some nesting dies can be on a card. You are the Queen of CAS. Off to enjoy another brilliant day before the cold and rain sets in again. Our weather's been a bit topsy turvy here lately. Enjoy your houseful.
How clever and sharp-minded to see the little tube as a stamping tool. The card was wonderful! My husband and I will often spot something we're about to toss out and ask each other if they could use in some way.
More cool ideas, thank you! I've learned not to be too quick to throw out some stuff that may make clever cards. Trouble is, sometimes I can't tell the difference and I collect too much, lol. I very much appreciate your ideas and enjoy watching you create, it's inspiring!
I always ask myself “what could I use packaging for “ before tossing it in the bin…..Great free source for creating texture etc. I also sometimes use cardboard instead of foam tape for elevation. Another lovely CAS card with more crafty tips. Thank you Christine. 🦋xxx
Hi Chrissie. Such a stunning card. I bought some essential oil a couple of weeks ago on your recommendation. I knew I had purchased the same brand so I just had to run upstairs and see if I had the same dropper protection..............and YES I do! Cannot wait to use it for stamping. Such a brilliant idea, thank you xx
My retired husband went through and emptied all the trash in the house including the Craft room/office earlier today. He told me I needed to take a few minutes and go through the trash piling up behind the trash bin. I explained it is not trash but all the bits I use for my cards. So you can imagine my delight with your video today! Another maxing card!
One man’s rubbish is another man treasure, a very simple card as you say and it turned out beautifully. I will admit I thought when I first started watching that you were going to create something using hole reinforcements as that’s what they looked like 😊
Lovely card Christine and love the pattern made with your scrap of polystyrene tubing. Good to see your subscriber numbers climbing too. Have a beautiful day xx
A dramatic and unique card, suitable for so many different occasions. Exceptional use of a found object which lends credibility to some of my hoarded bits and bobs because they might make lovely marks. Thanks for sharing. 💚
Playing catch up as I've missed so many great Christine videos. Loved this card in its simplicity and feel. I do love to use unexpected bits to create effects as well. Thank you as always.
You have a true artist eye to be able to create from nothing and make it into something brilliant all while playing and having fun! And your giggles are truly infectious! This is why I love to watch you every day! You are so sweet and kind!❤
Wow Christine, you always amaze me with the items you try to craft with and they turn out gorgeous. Thanks to you, i now take a more careful look at packaging to see the potential uses for card making. Thanks for the inspiration. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
This is where you are so clever Chrissie. I would probably not even have thought that maybe I could use it as a stamp and it would have gone straight in the bin, but the green inked circles spritzed with water to soften the look look, and the cottontails you used over the top with the piece cut to fit inside the stitched frame makes it stand out, and with just the quite simple sentiment to finish, it looks wonderful. I shalll certainly be looking at packing and suchlike in a whole new light. x
Wonderful card! My family always saves random things to see if I want it for my crafts. None of them do crafts but it always makes them smile when they receive something from me that includes the use of their item. 😊 I enjoyed your video! 🩷
Wow I LOVE the way your mind works ! You make it all seem so easy when seriously I wouldn’t have thought of 3/4 of the ideas you come up with . Thanks for sharing your thought process! ❤❤❤
This is beautiful. I love how you used a piece of “trash” to make your background. I would never had thought of that, but I will certainly look at things differently now. Thanks for sharing.
It is always fun to see what you are up to Chrissie, I always know it will be unique and beautiful. So much "trash" we could probably use for texture on cards. This bit of "trash" is not only sturdy, but reusable as well. I love the texture and look you got from it! Beautiful and simplistic thinking of you card! Hugs, Brenda
Essential oils are good medicine..I have used them for 30 years or so…I am doing gelli plate prints..you inspire me…gonna cut off plastic straws and tape in a bundle…for making marks.. nice card..thanks
Hi Chrissie. I've just started watching your latest video and had a giggle. Packaging is a crafter's best friend. There's loads of 'rubbish' made its way to my printing box. From corrugated cardboard to veggie nets, from bottle tops to aluminium foil.....the list is endless. 😂😂. Most make it to the recycling bin eventually. Keep up the videos. I love to have a break (from putting the shopping away this time) and watching your videos give me the perfect excuse (reason). 😊
@@sueplatt8899 oh I see what you mean now, but the die cut had its flower part already on it... The bulrush! Maybe you could do something as you suggest!
Hey there darlin. Haven't commented for quite the while :( It's spring on the mountain and seedling time in the big greenhouse. Then when the true heat of summer kicks in it will be back to true creativeness :) Love your lay-back way of doing things. Noticed, while watching, your silver "picky tool". Made me giggle. It is the same one that I use in some of the clay work in the studio. Awesome for incredible details in clay (carving through the underglaze and down into the clay base). Isn't it FUN to use LOTS of stuff and let the ol creative edge ROLL :0!!! Good job - as usual.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us!! I wanted to let you know I ordered a bottle of the bergamont essential oil and am loving it! Per your recommendation, I used it to remove some sticky from a sentiment I cut out of holographic cardstock and it worked perfectly (side benefit, it made my card smell nice too). Then I had the thought that it might take the sticky off my scissors and it worked beautifully! I'd been using a goo-gone type chemical and really didn't like the way it smelled. Now I have a wonderful smelling alternative to do the same job all because of YOU! Thank you! You have a grateful subscriber in Akron, Ohio, US. 💕
how ingenious Chris, was thinking if it got a bit messy on the end you could just cut it off with a sharp knife and off you go again, maybe even get a different pattern😂. You've probably already thought of that anyway with your ingenuity. Another card i have to copy now. 😂😂 just ordered the oil on Amazon, you really shd have a franchise agreement with them. x Looking forward to the next one.. xxx

Too bad. I ordered a bergamot fragrance yesterday per watching your video on its effectiveness on removing glue off mirror cardstock. Sad to hear today it'll take the gold off my mirror cardstock.
Lovely use of otherwise rubbish. What can you do with those orange bags, you know those net like things, I have some orange and some mauve which look pretty have only used them so far for smooshing inks. I am loathe to throw them away. 😂

Thanks… numbers will reduce by two later today when two go home, and by Friday we’ll be back to the status quo!
Bless you…. I laughed “this old thing can I stamp with it”. Christine, you aren’t helping with my declutterring efforts!

Not sure which flower part you mean ?
The part you stamped could be a flower (instead of a background) to the stem part you cut out!
