I am incredibly impressed with her body of work thus far. The honesty captured in her songs reminds me of Joni Mitchell. I believe it was Kris Kristofferson who told Joni directly after listening to her amazing recording Blue, "Geez, Joni, save something for yourself!" Being this brave, vulnerable, and open is dangerous business. Lizzy is amazeballs.

No I do t think the person who may be in a situation like this is a hypocrite, to me they’re just scared of the encounter they may have if they were the one to call after already missing so many of their friends calls repeatedly,(for whatever reason it may have been), so they wait hopefully for a call to come again, but the friend may be caught up/or maybe frustrated whichever one so they don’t call back or maybe not as soon, leaving you more nervous and anxious and possibly scared of what could result if you were the one to decide to call, which results in you backing out and not doing anything at all. So, not a hypocrite, at least to me, just a. Very Lonely nervously anxious person.
Maybe for someone in this case, they can write a letter or an email; Letter if it feels easier because it may take a day or 3 depending on the nearness, (I digress), anyway, this way they can say some of the things they been holding onto for however long in a series of letters, which can be rekindling and fun. 🤞🏽😅😊
