United had essentially two high intensity derbies back to back with not much recovery time in-between, was always going to catch up on Sunday with the small squad.

Find it interesting that Goodwin is making a lot of the fatigue issue given the fact that Hearts have been playing twice a week (with European travel) most weeks since October!!

Some players should have been rested and academy players given an outing.

Why doesn't Goodwin give Meshack a run out?. He scored a great lob v Hibs and has never left the bench since.
He's a pacey winger, and given every else seen to be on their knees, why not use him v Tims. It's a free hit match anyway

By all accounts, he was terrible in the 10 minutes he got before he actually scored the goal.

@colinanderson7384 - he was, but there have been many others who have been as bad who get more game time. What's the point of putting him on the bench? The last 10 minutes v Hearts was surely worth a punt
