She was portrayed as just a floating head in the earlier games and became more humanoid/snakewoman over time. This being the origin of the Belmont/Dracula grudge, her being just a floating head is a detail that surprised many more attentive fans. This is how you're supposed to do comedy: make it optional. Don't say you have a serious game, and then force people to put up with a boxing Kangaroo or a Kung Fu Panda Bear or some guy who can use his sword like a helicopter.
How do you get pumpkin kid anyway? Sorry I haven't played this game and or curse of darkness.. I only played symphony. Which is my all time fav Castlevania game but these two are looking like future LPs.
What are u talking about,? If anything, This game (Lament) is the one that encapsulated that Spooky feeling ANY Castlevania should have. Non of the GBA or DS did that, not even Curse of Darkness (PS2). Playing this game at night in the dark is such an unique experience. Of course it is not Survival terror like Resident Evil or Psychological terror as Silent Hill, but still gives a you an incredible "scary" feeling, and for me, that is the perfect ambient a Castlevania SHOULD HAVE.
I don't like any of these versions of the game not any of them anything from super Nintendo on unless it's a metroidvania from the game boy they're terrible
