To people on the web who are unaware of us ... We are Tranmere Rovers Football Club, in the town of Birkenhead on The Wirral Peninsular, within Merseyside yet on the other side of The River Mersey Opposite Liverpool. We are in the fourth tier of the football pyramid, our Stadium is called Prenton Park, it holds 16.000 supporters.
Three sides of our stadium was redeveloped in 1993/4, 1, The Kop where the camara view is from is a massive roofed large seated terrace. 2, Opposite is the Cow Shed seated stand (behind the other goal). 3, To the right is The Johnny King Stand, named after Our passed Great Manager (formally known as The Borough Road Stand). 4, To the left is our oldest part of our ground (built in 1968) The Main Stand and Paddock seating.
We are Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park in Birkenhead on The Wirral ... we are NOT scousers!!!.
