Is it possible to open the same pdf twice with wondershare pdf? It would be nice to have the texts questions in one tab and the answers in the other tab. Edit: I mean other than copying the file and opening it under a different name.
@@sciencegremlin8307 I just wonder if your question is not related to the video. If so, please check these solution below: Method 1: PDFelement for Windows tab label can be dragged, then the files displayed in two windows Method 2: Open two documents, navigate to "View", click the "Tiles" icon and choose one type of tiles, you can automatically be divided them into two windows.
Thanks for the tips. Is there a way to open another file that is not in your C drive? Eg: a shared onedrive/sharepoint file? I understand you can put the URL in, but that'd open up in a browser
Hey. Is there an option where we can have an index page where we can click on index and it then takes us to the options(sub-index) or to the pdf where the information is,if there are no sub-index’s. It has to be essentially like a web page in pdf. Like i cant see any other pages apart from the index page. It has to be scalable where we can add a pdf document to the main document or create a pdf with in the master document so we can have a single pdf files with all the documentation in it. So 100’s of pdf documentation indexed and organised in an single pdf doc. I don’t know if such an option exists and if it doesn’t you should create it(I’m assuming it’s possible) it would solve a lot of confusion in documentation in Enterprise’s. Sorry for the lengthy text.
I apologize for the late reply. Your idea is quite interesting! Our product currently only supports displaying recent PDF files based on their source folder. To implement an in-product file index would mean that you need to first save all files in our cloud storage. We have a dedicated cloud storage software called Document Cloud that connects with PDFelement. After you save your files to the cloud, you can directly create folders and organize files within the cloud.

Thank you for your suggestion. I've shared it with our product team, and if there are any updates or developments regarding creating clickable footers across multiple pages, we'll make sure to let you know.
As near as I can tell, this doesn't work at all. I am trying to link a pdf document on my computer to a thumbnail graphic. The dialog box in the video is nowhere to be found. I am using the trial version for mac. So far, not a good trial. I am happy to pay, but if it doesn't work . . . .

Nice Tutorial Video. I have an issue creating book marking Bookmarking for a PDF with about 80-90 pages. Bookmarks are not taking me to correct location set by me. I created about 17 Bookmarks. But only 4-5 are correctly functioning. I am using Purchased Version of PDFelement and Window 10. My Laptop has 4 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD with more than 50% available space on SSD.
Hi, sorry to hear the bookmarks do not work well. Regarding this problem, would you please send the file and the issue to our support team support.wondershare.com/how-tos/pdfelement/, they will help to fix it in time.
***WARNING! *** I made a big work with this "free down load". But when I tried to save it I had to pay minimum 79.99 USD - or - accept an ugly water stamp logo all over the work (pdf). I choose water mark, but it does look bad, so I can not use my work unless I pay! Don't call it free! Be honest! Nobody wants a water mark!
Thank you for pointing that out! Our product is available for free download and comes with a 14-day free trial (with watermarks during the trial period). After the trial period, our product requires a subscription fee. We aim to provide a high-quality service while balancing features and pricing, believing that our product offers great value.
Dear user, may I ask if you are using a Mac? If so, after clicking the 'Add Link' button, please don't rush to add the selection box just yet. First, select 'Page' in the right sidebar, and then you can add the link in the appropriate location within the PDF. At this point, you'll see options in the right sidebar for selecting the page range for navigation. I hope this helps!
How can we make a clickable footer without doing it page by page? With Adobe you can use objects but I see no way to do it in PDF Element? @@PDFelement
I would like to link back to the index so when people have read that page they can go back to the index and choose another page. However, I don't see any way to do this across all pages.... I would either like to make a clickable link and be able to duplicate it across multiple pages, or make a clickable header or footer that does the same thing. I bought this program assuming it would be able to do that since Adobe can but don't see any way to do that. Can you help?@@PDFelement
