I think these are the bees I have in my backyard, they live in the brick wall dividing my house and the neighbors. They are very active and love the garden my father has. I am thinking of planting new plants (vegetables and what not) So I am glad to find out they are great pollinators. thank you for the video :D

Is it necessary to harvest the cocoons from the tubes in October? Or can you leave them where they are? Some say you should harvest and keep the cocoons in the fridge over the winter but it seems to me that in the wild the cocoons would remain where they are until spring. Any thoughts?
