Great stuff Gabe - really like the commentating style. Your Driving confidence on those tight holes is incredible. On that 3wood that didn't cut - I would keep that as a drawing club in the bag so you have a goto draw club - many PGA guys do this. Those slightly heavy wedges & those 2 that came up short - for me, this is why I think you should consider narrowing your feet slightly on those types of shots - less weight transfer & steeper into the ball offers better compression & low-pt control. Great score for the conditions
Thanks Paul! Yea I can still hit a draw with the 3 wood I just never wanna have to do it. I can pretty much fit my cut into every hole/situation I need to. Leads to more repeatability. The chunks were more as a result of me just decelerating like an idiot. The wider stance is still the best route for me as I can feel more anchored and stable through the shot!
Lol, COMPLETELY agree about hole 9. Gets even worse in the summer when the course dries out. There's basically no way to keep it from ending up in the left rough or all the way down into that bottom area by the trees.
@@GabeGallucciGolf Great round though man! I've definitely had these "bi-polar weather" days at the falls before, but wasn't quite as good at bouncing back you did xD
Used to live on this course. Played here a lot. U r a demon for playing so well. Difficult course for mid to high handicappers. Very hilly and the greens slope so much. Many blind shots too
Nice course vlog Gabe. I definitely had been missing these from you. That was a really good round considering the conditions. Just an update for you since you asked in your last response, I have been playing some good golf. I broke 80 for the first time and then did it again a week later. I still need to find consistency with my short game and putting. But it has been even more fun now that I have broken 80 and hitting one of my goals for this season. Keep up the great work Gabe
Hey gabe, is there any lateral shift thoughts involved in your swing, other than pushing off your back foot? You seem pretty centred and just rotate hard through the ball. I am struggling with upper body lateral shift in the downswing and trying to get more open with the shoulders at impact.
YT recommendation popped this vid for me, glad it did. Good content, good production, and what a beaut of a course! Happy first time viewer and new sub!
Hey gabe! This is the first video I watched of yours and since I have gone back and watched about 10😂. Love your process and all the work you have put in! Quick question: have you ever looked into the DECADE system by Scott fawcett for course management? Thank you keep up the great work can’t wait for tournament vlogs!
You're now my favorite men golf vlog. Love the voice over and Your ability to explain every shot. Keep the great work.
Thanks Denis!
Yes ganng shot traacers!!

Lets goooooo! Good stuff man! Excited for you, keep grinding!
Thanks for the vid! Really liked it even those chunky wedges!
I'm glad! ... I didn't enjoy those chunky wedges as much haha
“Chunk the absolute chunk of garbage wedge… “ and there is my game described right there 😂😂✊🏴
haha!!
Super tight course and weather. Nice work. Such a fine line from your 2 under to a 5 or 6 under. You are so close!
Right!? Feels good to know a poor performance can still yield -2... Gotta keep tightening things up so I don't give away those easy birdies
Yes sir, that’s what i am talking about. You go Gabe
Thanks homie!
Great looking course. I'm jealous.
Yea it's a pretty great place to play! Thanks for watching Larry!

I got rid of my lateral shift, it's all a turn with the pelvis
@@GabeGallucciGolf do you feel any weight shift to the front or is it always 50 50?

Great round!!! And great vlog! We need more of these for sure!
Check out our videos at the falls!!! Chilly whacked golf
Opening with a par 3 is brutal lol
No range either haha.. 220 into the wind, gotta love it!
Great vlog, would love to film a match sometime if you stay out on the west coast...
Yoyo! I'm gonna be prepping for Vancouver
open in a month or so. Let's maybe set something up at one of the city courses if the timing works out
Great vlog! Boy that is a tight and tough looking course!
Prob the tightest I've played, makes for great practice!
Finally another course vlog, good stuff Gabe, not sure why you always seem to play in the rain, you're like a magnet or something 😀

Great scrambling man that is what you want going into comps.

Great playing! I am working on some setup and rotation from Gankus! I see what it has done for you. So far, amazing results.

Tightest course I’ve ever played. It’s
teaching me how to really control my drives!
Seems like you like that new putter... How's it feeling?
best putter I've owned

Try being a leftie on hole 9, terrible
Can’t even imagine trying to sling a draw on that hole from the back tees😰😰😰
