I hear this and cry. I lost my husband of 20 years on 3/30/21 (his 53rd birthday) to Covid. It was such a shock because it all happened so quickly. He was on the ventilator for only 2 days. He and I loved the movie “Ghost” and it has just been hard. 6 months later I lost my dog which also came too quickly. I miss them both so much and my life has completely changed since then. IT HAS NOT BEEN EASY! God bless.😢

I cry EVERY TIME I hear this song. I grew up during the VN war in the 60’s and this was my love’s & my song. He was injured, but made it back home. But he was never the same. I’m sorry for your loss, I truly am. My son lost the love of his life for 11 1/2 years. They dated 10 years before getting married. She died of Covid complications after being in ICU for 6 weeks. She too was on a ventilator and then ECMO. She coded 3 days after being in there, but they got her heart started again. She never regained consciousness. She got pneumonia, blood clots, MRSA, and her lungs were severely damaged. She passed away on 8/11/20 @ the age of 37. My son still grieves for her. They were only married a year and a half. 😢

Anyone reading this take note, when you are driving past or are thinking about meeting up, don`t think, `I`m a bit busy today, there`ll always be next time`.
