This new GLoo version seems to copy the Noco clips and recent Noco accessories . The box packaging is very similar to the Hulkman 85. They just stepped up the charger with the 100W charge and the appearance with the LCD screen. Do you know what the price for this version will be?
Thanks for doing a video that explained the features, showed a live demo and gave me all of the information that I needed. I’ve seen some of the videos that ran 20+ minutes longer and didn’t cover the important features like you did without starting a car. Thanks again
Seeing that device start a Cummins diesel with both batteries disconnected sold me. It would be an extremely unlikely worst case scenario to encounter in the real world.
Good detailed review and on a vehicle that truly tested it. I've been on the fence but if it will start a Cummins it should be ok. I'll definitely keep it warm in the winter before starting something. Project Farm put it in the freezer over night and started a tractor with it. Actually it was the GP4000 but I think they have the same battery. Thanks
Excellent review 👍 that overcurrent protection seems like a deal breaker to me though. Supposed to be rated at 4000a peak? A starter with no battery shouldnt draw anywhere near that. Classic example of how lithium tech can easily let you down too.
Nice review! Say, while observing the display I didn't see the voltmeter readout of your truck battery before or after starting your engine. Is that feature available on this jumper or not? To me, that is a deal breaker. Thanks!
So Lithium Polymer batteries NOT Lithium Ion. Alot if differences. So Lithium Poly cost more but doesn't last as long as Ion. Poly is a dry cell not wet like ion so no leakage. Poly charges faster.etc etc... So Google it...lol SoGood video though. So keep up the good work So we can all learn.
It's been great but if I'm being honest I do like the JF egwo one slightly better since it has the built-in air compressor and it also doesn't time out like this one does. That being said the gt4000 packs of big punch and has been very reliable for jump starting. I just like having the compressor built in. Very handy
Not a bad idea! Great for charging phones and other gadgets also. Pretty incredible how strong those lithium ion batteries are these days. Couldn't believe it starts up a diesel without the batteries attached
let me ask about the battery clamps which you say does not have a wire attached to both sides of the clip. What would you need that for when both sides of the clip are connected by the copper hinge ???
@@NNKH2 It said November 20th for the release date on Amazon, still isn't out yet. I still want to know how the heck you got one of these before the rest of us? Got a secret? lol
@Tadders The company probably sent it to him to review. Whether they reached out to him first, or he went to them and said "got anything for me to review?", who knows....
How is it a fair or legitimate test if you hook up the car battery and then start the car? If it can start when the car battery is hooked up that means the car battery started the car and not the Jump Starter. Also for $200 it should come with a Hard Shell protective storage Case instead of a cheap cloth or nylon bag.
Difficult to follow... I just purchased via Amazon and having trouble connecting the charger cable to bring up to full four blue lights and getting a response. The unit that was sent to me is not the same as this unit to bring the charger up to full charge - four lights so I conclude it is an earlier model. It also did not have a display panel on the Gooloo body as shown here. The author of this RUclips rushes through the sections on charging and just sort of points to the cable connect and the connection on the Li battery unit and waves his hands and rushes on to next thing he wants to say ... could not follow clearly what he was talking about. Too bad.... I give 1 star review this video... instruction is supposed to instruct.
Don't waste your money I bought a 4000s after watching all these videos wouldn't even start a 1.0 liter vauxhall corsa with a 6 month old bosch battery innit that had went flat had to use the jump leads on it don't waste your money on these
Sounds like maybe you got a faulty one. As you saw in this video it started my Cummins 5.9 diesel with no batteries attached. It didn't like it but it did it
Is it? It started a Diesel engine with no batteries. Did you see the size of the batteries in the truck compared to the jump starter? For how fast in cranked a high compression engine, I think 20% is pretty damn good
He accidentally had the flashlight of it on too. Take a look again. That was draining battery even after disconnecting the cable. The jump boost only dropped the battery to 94%
This is their latest redesigned jump start pack and is expected to go live on Amazon Nov. 20th
On Amazon:
*GOOLOO 4000a JUMP STARTER: amzn.to/2ZC5Sb2

So this unit has Lithium Polymer batteries. Is that a significant difference versus lithium ion?
aææææa
Error code 2 means the pack is overheated, u have to let it cool down a bit. It says wait 30 seconds but u need to wait longer

Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the review. Just wanted to note the crossover wire isn’t needed since the jaws are fully copper plated…
No problem! And yes that's true but I still think having the crossover wire helps out. Copper flows better and Copper coating wears out

I just got the gp4000 It didn’t come with a fast charger nether or a cigarette charger but does look good I got the Orange one
Thought these new GooLoo battery packs had Lipo batteries?
Yes they do; lithium polymer battery not lithium ion as stated in the video.

The clamps dont need crossover wires because they are solid metal instead of plastic
Can you please provide us with a update review on how you are liking or disliking it after 10 months?

Thanks so very much for the expeditious response and report. Much appreciated.
Is this better than the TopDon jump starter?
I’ve been thinking about buying these for my kids to keep in the junk cars I give to them LOL
Not a bad idea! Great for charging phones and other gadgets also. Pretty incredible how strong those lithium ion batteries are these days. Couldn't believe it starts up a diesel without the batteries attached
I’ve always liked my Stanley pack with a compressor, but it seems like the move is towards these lithium ones. And I see why, they’re powerful!
Yeah, I have a couple of the old standard jump packs also and they just don't have enough juice.
I’ve jumped my 8 cylinders with them with no problem, and they’re great for keeping up with leaky tires that I’m too cheap to replace!
I have one but having problems my screen is flashing white any ideas
does the 100W car charger work directly with a telephone?
Jumper cables do not function advise what is promblem 3:27
Whats the difference between the gt4000a and gt4000s?
S variant does not come with preheating.
All good but vary hard to find on line that's available.
Does it come with a charging brick that plugs in the wall outlet?
No it does not. At least mine did not
let me ask about the battery clamps which you say does not have a wire attached to both sides of the clip. What would you need that for when both sides of the clip are connected by the copper hinge ???
It's a steel hinge. That is copper clad which wears off as soon as the hinge is used.
Copper wire flows more electrons than steel
This item does not exist yet, how the heck did you get one before us?!
Yes. Coming out this month on Amazon
@@NNKH2 It said November 20th for the release date on Amazon, still isn't out yet. I still want to know how the heck you got one of these before the rest of us? Got a secret? lol
I want one like this one😅😅or im getting the hulkman alpha 100😁
@Tadders The company probably sent it to him to review. Whether they reached out to him first, or he went to them and said "got anything for me to review?", who knows....
I just ordered one on Amazon. $224.99. With the $75 coupon, I paid $149.99. Estimated arrival, Dec. 12.

Don't know exactly which part of the video you are referring to but jump starters are designed to be used with a weak battery.
will the USB c charge a laptop at 85-100 watt so that it can be used as a power bank?
It should yeah
it look 20 percent and to starting dropping even when disconnected.
The cheaper audew has crossover cable. Hope is does not matter
Lithium Polymer. Not quite the same as Ion.
yeah , a video without a skate board !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All you do is plug in the USB C cable and it charges up. There's not anything else to it

STOP SAYING "SO"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what word would you like me to use so I know better for next time so I don't get you upset.
Lol triggered
That’s a huge 20% drop just from one jump start.
Is it? It started a Diesel engine with no batteries. Did you see the size of the batteries in the truck compared to the jump starter? For how fast in cranked a high compression engine, I think 20% is pretty damn good
