Anyway, I recommend this show both subbed and dubbed, it's very chaotic and fun.

I like how Aaron’s screams just tune in with Leo well. Its funny. But to me its also what makes him have quite the emotion.
i think Aaron's screams sound like how Leo [who's pretty young and sort of a lil guy] would sound if he was real and that's what makes it gel well for me. Kinda ironic tho bc his VA's actually pretty tall 😅
This is definitely part of the reason why Aaron Dismuke had to go on strict vocal rest lmao
Turns out that the reason he needed vocal rest in 2022 was more so because a new studio he was working at tried having him do 4 hours of efforts and he wanted to impress them by pushing himself reaaally far in the booth resulting in damage. Blood Blockade Battlefront likely wasn't as vocally intense as this video might make it out to be bc the director probably wasn't scheduling such intense and long sessions for it.

@@audioemporium He stated on Twitter that he had never taken care of his voice between recordings. This was especially a problem when he needed to scream or yell because he wasn't giving his vocal cords proper rest, so he eventually needed to go on strict vocal rest else he wouldn't be able to voice act anymore.
@@eebtheweeb1419 oh yeah not taking his vocal health into consideration was a big part of it too, i was just trying to provide some extra context he provided elsewhere is all. I hope I didn't come off rude or nothin' 🙏

@@benjaminkern6450 I can't tell if you're making a joke or not, but either way, I just want to say that actors don't influence what happens in the show for any reason. The Ever After was also an idea the writers had since V1.

Aaron is my favorite English VA. FMA 03 was one of the first anime I ever watched - along with Fruits Basket 2001 where he voiced Hiro - and even as a child he had an INCREDIBLE emotional range in his voice. Child actors are often criticized due to their lack of emotion, but Aaron has always put 110% into his roles. So glad he got to be in the Fruits Basket reboot as Kakeru. As he’s grown and I grew with him his voice has just become more and more appealing to me. He has a certain vocal quality that I really haven’t heard from any other popular English VAs.
There goes 3 days of my life I'll never get back...
Also just a heads up, I tried including Leo's speech from S1's finale, but it immediately got blocked in all countries.

Not saying TikTok is better than RUclips, but if you put this on TikTok and put a different sound over it and then mute the added sound, you can post it with the speech included and it probably won't get taken down.
You can post pretty much whatever copyrighted material you want, so long as it's not explicit.
That's how I get around posting scenes from anime and other copyrighted stuff. The only stuff, right now, that's been muted or taken down by TT when I use the sound tactic is Attack on Titan stuff, but that's because of the "nudity" of titans.
