Really love your videos, be great if you could relay a bit more information on what nozzle you are using, when you change the nozzle for a different size or configuration and pressure....always good to see someone doing their best for the customer.
Great show, sometimes you just have to call on the reinforcements, it happens. And look at you, not 4 weeks ago you had less than 60 subs, and now closing in on 1,000. Your vids are appreciated. Until next time.
Maybe it's just me but shouldn't the other side be cleared first so the sewage water has somewhere to drain out rather than flooding the patio with sewage? A trash bags would be good just to put the wipes straight into it without so much playing in poop. lol
Hope you realize that the reason this blockage cleared was that it sat there so long it just rotted away by itself,, stick to rodding and by the way get the correct size plunger.
Once that main manhole stopped draining I would have moved downstream. No place for all that crap to go but all over the pavement. No, he went upstream, go figure. Still clogged and crap everywhere.
Holy moly - when will people ever stop flushing wet-wipes in the toilet??? Wet-wipes, nappies, Q-tips, sanitary napkins, tampons and similar belong in the bin, not the toilet - how is that so difficult to understand?!? But, I guess they are creating steady jobs for you guys. And what a nightmare job - great work in a hellhole of wipes. 👍🏼😊
Kids. Teenage girls. Makeup. Babies. Disabled people. Toilet Hygiene. TP replacement. To be honest there are lots of reasons. None acceptable, though the disabled perhaps excusable, but not forgivable. Remove from the market, if needed Dr can script them out. Baby wipes Etc need to be dissolvable. The companies would soon enough release properly flushable ones if this was done.
I think it’s the gruesomeness/revulsion of putting wipes smeared with excrement in the bathroom/toilet bin, and the smell of it from the bin. A lot of us would “unfortunately” prefer to buy the “so called” flushable wet wipes and drop in the toilet ☹️. And most loo roll manufacturers say they do special flushable wet wipes that you must buy and use after wiping your bum with toilet paper. One of my memory’s was of my grandmother used to run/owner of a bed&breakfast/hotel, after the guests had breakfast and had left, I would follow the cleaners/grandmother with the cleaning equipment to the guest quarters, where I would look for the rooms that were cleaned and had the door open and go in to look at the extractor fan in the en-suit bathroom, shower/toilet, due to the nature of the plumbing in the guest house - some of these toilets had macerators fitted, and there was a large warning sign on the cistern saying “do not flush anything down this toilet; it will damage/block the macerator” and my Nanna would make sure there wasn’t any wet wipes in any of the bathrooms, to stop the guests from using them and flushing down the toilet. Another related memory is a narrow-boat holiday we had 6 years ago, the company said its boats had been fitted with macerator toilets, and 1 of the most common call-outs for them was the toilet not flushing/blocked-up with the wrong brand of loo roll/wet wipes.
it was an adult nappy they believe at the front of the blockage and where welsh water came out prior to us they had compacted the wipes using a plunger
When our drains kept blocking the housing company's workman told me 'toilet paper is not made to be flushed in toilets'. We use 2 layer toilet paper, not the thick stuff that blocks drains and certainly no wet wipes go in the toilet. So I asked them if they wanted to use the door or fly true the glass window. I called the drain cleaners to check the pipes. There was a building mistake in the drain's system. Nothing went out, rainwater came in. Didn't have a blockage for 6 years now. But we also remove the grease from the manholes every month. Who does that these days ...
I’m sorry to say but the machine you have is inadequate for that type of job, if you go look at drain attic in Australia you can see that he has something like 3500 to 6000 psi I think you are working with 1000 at the very most and the hose and the tips that you have are not adequate to cut up any of those paper towels or wipes as they call them that’s what’s making your job a lot harder in my personal opinion need to upgrade on equipment to do this type of work ✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
It's probably frustrating when you can't find the nearest manhole where the sewage goes and instead have to make a mess above the clog. Maybe a different nozzle will help, with three jets backwards and one forward?
Great but stomach churning horror video. One waited and waited for the drain men to triumph over the stubborn blockage but they never did! Wonder how the problem was eventually resolved?
Why dont you guys have the barrels like drain addict and a tank in your trunk with a honda engine like he has too? Hope you guys can get the same as he has so you can get done faster
Because they are cheap and made their own system from a pressure washer. Instead of being a professional business and buying something built for jetting.
I was put in mind of a lucky fisherman, pilling out more and more and even more . Great video thank you.
I have never seen that many wet wipes come out of one small area! Sen this video to Drain Addict! He would be shocked!
I’d be slapping the people who were flushing those down with those wipe cakes
That is an absolute disaster
It's a pit of despair

The pressure of the water pump is too low ?
You are right It is way to low
Note to Rods Away: Always have a bucket with a bin bag handy to put the wipes in.
Note to homeowners: Stop flushing wet wipes.
note to homeowner keep flushing wipes, this man gotta eat and we gotta watch
polarbear Yes! Contrary to what the wipes claim on the package, they should NOT be flushed.
At least you tried guys people need to stop flushing those wet wipes and two one hour videos in a row both with tons of wipes loved it
10 minute job for Ollie!
Yes!!!!!
You got that right
When your pressure is insufficient to keep tension on the hose as you pull back on it, your system is not suitable for the job.
I can smell it from here m8 lol
Won’t they ever learn?
Probably not

Do you educate the home owner about wet wipes??
We try
where did you guys get trained? carphone warehouse
I think it's better to work from the downstream, why not?

THAT IS SAD
I like to see his Jetter. It mush be a little one
21ltr per minute
@@RodsAway photo please
Feel like I could bust out a standard snake from home depot and cleared this shit in 10 minutes.
Drain Addict would of unclogged that in 3 min, smh
Hope you realize that the reason this blockage cleared was that it sat there so long it just rotted away by itself,, stick to rodding and by the way get the correct size plunger.
Too much talking. No enough action. Didn't care to finish the video.....
Pulling wet wipes, etc from these drains reminds me of a magician pulling rabbits out of a hat... I also love the dark South Walian humour...

you should start charging per pound of wet wipes lol

No expert, but I think you gave it a pretty good shot. For some reason i started singing Pulling Wetwipes from a Drain - could have been by Sqeeeze
always learning
much better then headmount, much less shaky, good video bad block :)
Bought a bite grip today for the gopro slso
Just a question would a bigger nozzle make things quicker?
How is that physically possible to have that many wet wipes?
I suspect the quarantine and a toilet paper shortage.

Lots of fiber
Why do people flush wet wipes? If you have to use them, put them in the bin. I prefer the Japanese style toilet / bidet.

Wipes go in a bin not the drain.
That is a very big wad and blockage
u need more pawa captain!!
Please upload the next video where the big boys open the blockage
it was an adult nappy they believe at the front of the blockage and where welsh water came out prior to us they had compacted the wipes using a plunger

or call the drain addict. Dude would have cleared it in 3....2....1.

3 hours to figure that out lol
@@trevorsmith579 Is it a three hour video?
no wipes > less jobs for you...
Serves the people right for putting all of them down in the first place!
I always wanted to know where my white plastic clogs went,!! Having seen this video, now I know,,,,!!!
How much pressure is on the jet?

Since flushers still love those wet wipes a cheap investment would be a pitchfork 😂. Could use it to also break up poop.
Wet Wipes will keep you employed!
Wet wipes and manholes do not get on
I can’t believe u don’t know wipes are there come guys pull them out u know how
Video was over an hour and instead of going down, the water level rose. What a disappointing mess!
Does the customer get charged even though the plumbing was not cleaned out?
The lady of the house must have the cleanest touchis in the British Isles
you get paid by the hour?
Makes me glad noone has invented smell-a-phones and smell-a-visions....😏
You flush the wipes, we truck drivers will deliver more to the store.
Your pump and hose doesn't seem to have enough pressure
wow hard job God bless
You need better equipment. I couldn’t watch the whole hour.
P
The wet wipe nightmare
Where is this located?
Shame you couldn’t clear this one

made that look harder than it should /shit flows down hill = move to next clear manhole
Reverse jetter would have this job done in half an hour.

Watch a few drain addict and invest in some better jetting tools and more pressure. So frustrating I could not watch entire video.
we have better heads now.
Why so long....that backed up!!!???
Maybe if you learned to use the machine you might get somewhere
